Welcome to the dark side. K20 swap installed and my part is finally done.
Getting the MR2 towed to the tuning shop today to have the final items completed. It has been quite a journey but it never ends so more mods coming soon.
Not so much just today but over the past week and half I have been replacing old ratty pieces in my aristo again. Was hopefully going to go smoothly but as with anything when these things not so the case what so ever. Biggest problem with the car was my radiator literally falling apart, I had the upper water neck literally fall apart in my hands as I was installing my new upper rad hose. The hunt for a new rad was super shitty struck out in so many places and ended up just screwing with things and making a usdm gs300 rad work for it(kind of sucks it's a single core rad vs the aristo 2 core).
Well aside from gripping about the crappy rad I managed to replace my radiator hoses with whifbitiz silicone ones, mishimoto low temp thermostat, custom intake I mad and custom intercooler pipes for the stock side mount I made. Not too many pics during the process but did manage to take a completed engine bay pic:

Forgot to shut the security cams off before I started working tonight. So I got an interesting shot of my pre-event vehicle inspection.
Rally bug needed a new steering damper, which I had suspected due to age/miles, so I had one in stock. What I wasn't prepared for was the blown bushing seen on the left of the photo. Had a set of random sway bar bushings in a bin, an untouched one is is in the middle of the photo. A few minutes with a drill and angle grinder, used in a manner not found in the manual, and I have a new set of steering damper bushings which should last the duration of the Hagerty Spring Thaw without issues. If you're going to leave stuff to the last minute, you better be creative!
Topped up the trans fluid (leaks about 250ml a year), fixed the speed sensor wiring and gave the car a bumper-to-bumper check. Should be good to go!
Continued to make more adjustments to my coilovers since I found the jack and stands I bought three years ago. Went from having funky rear rake two weeks ago, to looking even and not having to worry about rubbing. Still contemplating going a bit lower in the front, but I don't think I should chance it.
Installed these pretty cool two-coloured LED fogs. Never knew such a thing existed before. No longer have to keep switching systems/tints to get yellow/white lighting

Finally took it out for a ran after its long slumber.
Hit vtech the whole way through lol.
Came back home and i physically feel sick from the fume lol.
Possible fuel leak or running way too rich? Also notice grease seepage from a cv axle that was replace not long ago.
looking good man, its hard to get white to sparkle and reflect like that. looks like this coating works eh?
I'm impressed with it. I also coated the wheels and the difference in accumulated brake dust in front is night and day. And what's there is easily sprayed off with the pressure washer without needing the extra brush and mitt work.
