I had an exhaust rattle for probably a month... this afternoon, as i was driving my car out of my parking spot, suddenly it got super loud. So i drove it back into the shop and put it up on the hoist. The mid-pipe broke in a clean cut a foot after the cat LOL
CATBACK DELETE LMAO
So i threw on my semi-permanent/temporary fix until i decide what to do LOL
There are actually silver halogen bulbs out there.
?????
Civics don't take halogen bulbs for the turn signals.
I'm talking about Acura604's sharpie mod in the video, that it might look better if silver sharpie was used to colour over the LEDs, rather than black. Because the lens is clear and the bulb is very visible.
But it might not matter, cuz who's gonna crouch over and stare at a turn signal bulb, idk.

They do. The ones in his video are just plug-n-play LED bulbs.
IIRC the only Civics that don't use halogen bulbs for turn signals are the Touring models, but I think their rears are still the same as all the other trims.
I am talking about these halogen bulbs:
Flashes amber and blends in with the reflector. Probably the most aesthetically pleasing option.

it's nice looking, but that isn't halogen, FYI. There is no halogen replacement for a 7440 or W21W bulb; what you're referring to is a chromed incandescent bulb
The only halogen turn signal bulbs i have experienced replacing so far are on VW and BMW, utilizing bulbs such as H21W

Yeah, I use incandescent and halogen interchangeably. Will take note next time.
What I didn’t do today to my car! Went to my first rallycross event with my lowered tarmac suspension and no skidplate of any kind... and walked away without an exploded oil pan!
Edit: I do have some parts but was busy doing honeymoon stuff. Came very much last, but it was fun and want to do something like that again. Was at a motocross track though so it was kind of brutal. More rough than the rallycross stuff I see on youtube
Wasn't all done today but just a few things I've been picking away with my RAV4
Replaced the dome light bulb to an LED panel. Had a few leftover from previous cars
Before:
After:
Pulled the aftermarket alarm that wasn't even working, had no desire to get it working. Will probably install another system that includes remote start down the road.
Cleaned the throttle body, all that 350k km of carbon build up!
One of my later runs. Had to slow down as the the large softball size rocks had been dug up and put on the road due to all the cars running actual rally tires
