+1 for safego LED lights. Got a set from Amazon prime for $40 from amazon

I need to replace some piss poor headlights, 9003 bulb. Looking at some of these LES options. Will they be horribly obnoxious in a ‘scatter lense’ Style housing like all those fuckass ricers in the 2000’s with HID? Or will it be somewhat non-dickish but give more lift output.

Stock headlights on an ‘02 Ford Focus, can’t even tell if they’re on at night or not

Have you tried the Philips XtremeVision halogens yet?

While they don't have more lumens, the tighter wound filament will focus the beam better than the cheaper halogen bulbs.

New Corbin seats for my Vespa. I love this scooter

Worked on my daily driver yesterday. (F150 2gen 3.5TT)
Replaced the cabin filter at 16,000kms and it was pretty dirty probably from the smoke caused by the forest fires.

And then installed the tail gate applique so everyone knows I drive a Ford :fullofwin:
Next week the MR2 is getting an upgrade and maintenance work done.

Got some forged wheels and lowering springs for my car! I was about to ceramic coat the wheels and under bright light i noticed scuff marks. The lips are polished liquid bronze so i guess they hand polished it, but are they supposed to be this abrasive??? Its brand new wheels and all 4 are like that.

!Aznboi128 09-20-2018 09:52 AM

That does not look polished....

It's a pretty cool looking brushed look. Maybe they sent you the wrong finish?

LOL, you're funny Jimmy. The applique is from the Raptor and, IMO, looks way better than the chrome blue oval.

They look sandpapered.

Also +1 thanks for those safego lights. Bought a set for my Cx-5

Spent yesterday taking everything out - 2.5hours, took out more things than I needed to and that took an hour.

Spent about 6 hours today taking apart vanos, rebuilding it, replacing my VCG, and putting everything back together.

I swapped the starter on the wifes Matrix today, I forgot how nice it can be working on a car that has loads of space. 4 bolts, 2 nuts, 1 electrical connector, 1 rubber hose, 2 clips - and that includes the nut to undo the battery terminal. The whole job took maybe 15 minutes, putting the tools away and swapping all the baby stuff back to her car took longer than the actual repair.

Almost done the wiring for my fog light setup, and also installed my turbosmart BOV with boost reference adapted. Shit video but y’all know what 2005 sounded like

Drift mode + bov = cooler than polar Express

BIC_BAWS 10-14-2018 01:21 AM

No pics but new Angel Eyes, headlight lens, and headlight gaskets. Man the gaskets were such a bitch. I thought it would have taken me like 5 mins. Took me way longer. Turns out new gaskets dont like to compress.

Badhobz 10-14-2018 05:40 AM

did you have to bake!? any headlight changes usually involves a truck load of nasty epoxy and utilizing an oven.

Finally fixed the '58 window regulator, and did a once-over / fluid check on a buddies 1979 RX-7 after a run to Tofino and back. Fun car, but not Rally Beetle fun :P

Nope, fortunately, the E46 design utilizes clips. You simply unclip everything, and it pops off. I also got new bulbs for my low beams - but I think the bowl is burnt. Color temp is different.

Gonna be doing a DISA rebuild tonight. Yay. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...2de63acba3.jpg
