Got a yakima frontloader bike rack for my VW golf wagon at Ride n Hitch in Richmond for a great price.

I think they are new, but they offer competive prices when compared to american online stores

Did you use a torque wrench?

BrRsn 08-30-2012 11:20 PM

ive had something very similar happen before. This sounds ghetto but it may work as a last ditch effort

if the bolt is sticking out enough get a small blade off a hand saw and cut a line into the top of the bolt. Then get a flat screw driver to get it out.

I feel a lot of difference at anything above 2500 RPM. Haven't taken it on the highway yet so I can't really comment on the HIGH range too much, but i did do sudden bursts and it did feel a lot different then before.

Missed out on posting yesterday. All I can say is Hyundai studs, not so strong...lol

Got the FC fired today. Too bad I didn't notice the hole in the oil filter. Puked all the oil onto my freshly sealed driveway. New filter and oil, fired again....what's that squealing sound? Oh waterpump is seized. Remove the belt, fire again......sounds gooooooooodddd. New waterpump on the way and then start on tuning before pulling ther drivetrain out.

Installed interior LED bulbs :fullofwin:

Getting ready to have the car sent to the bodyshop soon, needs a fresh new coat of black paint. I also found some nice wheels that I'm hopefully going to pick up in the next couple days.

Here's a photoshop of what the car might end up looking like:

Still doing some research and I'm not sure if I should change out the stock exhaust system and/or install lowering springs/coils.
That should be all I'm planning to do for now..
