My V6 has become a work truck. But man, I usually look at different vehicles constantly. Dreaming of stupid ideas. But then I get in my Rav and I think to myself “I $&&?ing love this vehicle.” I’ll drive it into the ground. Haha. Driving my wife’s new CRV is nice for its creature comforts, but it sucks. Yeah same here, which is why I was interested in the Prime with 302hp. My wife is too used to the 269hp of the V6 she can't go back to anything lower.
Yeah I never thought I'd be so into a compact crossover SUV but it's a damn fine car. Nothing fancy, just powerful, usable, and reliable. The idea of getting another is to find one fully loaded with clean history that we can hopefully drive into the ground as well. | So my wife had the same problem with speed with a lot of the "economy" SUVs. She was spoiled driving my FBO MS3 and it was a learning curve already "side-grading" to a Mini Cooper 1.5t. The 1st day we picked up the Cooper she tried to overtake a bunch of cars getting onto a ramp.
Me: "What are you doing?"
Her: "Passing them?"
Me: "You can't do that in this car."
Her: "Why?"
Me: "You've got less than half the power...."
Tuner went on pretty quickly after that. (+20hp, + 20-30tq)
When we looked for a family SUV to trade the Mini in for, anything that was slowing than 7s to 100 was out of the question. Quote:

Yeah the NVH was another big reason for finding a Limited.
Noise in not sure as I haven't taken it on a prolonged highway trip, which I find the sport has pretty loud road noise. So that is TBD.
Vibration and harshness is much better in the limited. It feels more dampened when I shut the doors, and it is waaay more comfortable when going over rough streets. Comparing directly to the Sport, the limited feels like it's floating over rough roads. | Does the Limited have more sound deadening? The smaller wheel size would make a ton of difference for the harshness on roads. Toyota's suspension tuning are always under-damped imo. |
