sanded and primed a front fender, went lordco and the paint guy tells me, he doesnt do paint on the weekends and wont be able to help me til monday. |

Picked up a new shift knob http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a3...e/IMAG0147.jpg BLOX 490g something limited something lol |
washed it, cleaned the interior and went to check my tire pressure and found out I have a screw stuck in my tire :rukidding: |
So my dad decided to spray some shit and it oversprayed all over my car :rukidding:. Sun baked it on afterwards and it ended up looking like this. All over the front end. (sorry for the poor photoskillz) This is AFTER washing it. http://i49.tinypic.com/2n6dpc0.jpg 1500Grit wet+3000grit wet sand http://i50.tinypic.com/25it4kh.jpg Compound polishing+deswirling+glaze+wax http://i49.tinypic.com/2qnqjiw.jpg Heres a side by side with the hood. http://i47.tinypic.com/2nirvw8.jpg |
Oh gawd, I'd be livid. Time to invest in a car cover. |
Fucked up while drilling the floor for the lift. Might take even longer since I now need to get the section cut out, and filled. FML. Never do precision work with 2 hours of sleep. It's not really that bad. I just feel like a fuckin idiot. 2 of the anchors on one side have more than 1/8th of play. Which just screams unsafe. If anybody knows a concrete contractor, let me know. |
Use a bigger anchor and enlarge the hole on the base. |
putting it back to stock :okay: |

Hydraulic cement, epoxy, a larger anchor. |

Would the patched hole be strong enough to be re-drilled and anchored? I'm space limited, so the lift has to be in that particular spot. |

here's an example: Ramset Australia You could also get a female concrete anchor that will sleeve the hole, taking up the slack and allowing you to re-use what's existing. |
Went to pickup something down the border today! Thanks to Curtis @ TheSpeedSyndicate for helping me! :) http://img9.imageshack.us/img9/1336/imag0858c.jpg http://img440.imageshack.us/img440/7637/imag08611.jpg |
aunts RX had a flat :okay:, was too lazy to get jack from my house and remembered again how bad it was to use a scissor jack :fuuuuu: |
Got timing belt done & replaced front brake pads |
Picked up my new wheels from Blaine over the weekend. Then I went straight to my buddy's shop to get tires mounted and balanced. Put on the first wheel on the front..........DIDN'T CLEAR THE CALIPER!!!!!! :fuuuuu::fuuuuu::fuuuuu: I was so damn sure that +35 offset will clear. on my part...... Now I need to get some spacers for the fronts.....5mm or 10mm. Are the universal ones safe? |
Universal are safe under 5 mm, but most likely they will vibrate if not hub centric Posted via RS Mobile |
Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. I just really don't want to go through all the work and change out the studs. Not sure if it's possible to use 10mm spacers without changing studs? |

Aircare attempt... |
^ not sure if they make 10 mm spacers with built in studs, if not get a set of 15 mm hub centric + built in studs Posted via RS Mobile |
