I popped a dashcam in the Grand Cherokee, which was quick and easy thanks to no pillar airbags. There's a big puddle of fluid under the transfer case though, so I get to wrestle the drive shaft back out, again, and deal with that. |
WAYY too much work later I've installed these in the E36 Huge thank you to RS's own Simplex who happened to have an E36 drivers side mount. I'd started w a pair of E46 mounts but just couldn't get the driver's seat positioned correctly. The correct mount got it into the right place. Bottom line: installing after market seats is a bitch. I spent way more time and almost as much money sourcing the mounts as I did the seats. They're awesome though - stoked on the period correct fabric, that kind of matches my mismatched interior already https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...6f34aa12_b.jpgUntitled by GhstRidr, on Flickr |

i HATE how high the Xi is. I have been looking at coilovers for a while but the selection is weak. Either KW v3 which are pretty expensive or ISC which i dont know much about. Not considering BC Racing. I want to keep it comfortable since its a daily but god damn that looks good !!!! |
Started another upholstery project. 5 pieces down, 10 to go (the hard ones lol). We will be just pretend these are for a car and not a boat :p https://i.ibb.co/sVP2fsK/877503-C9-8...-A05-B95-B.jpg |

New PS4S Rubber for the Speed 3 this year: https://i.imgur.com/G4wb7G7.jpg And oil changes on the F150 and Speed 3. The speed's oil only had 1476 kms on it from it's last change on May 3 2020, seems like such a waste. At least I had a helper: https://i.imgur.com/6SxfaFJ.jpg |
Did you even have to jack the truck up? haha |
Nope! It makes up for the pain in the ass the Mazda is to jack the front end up. |

Nah, I mean you have go through the entire effort of raising the car and removing the undertray what's an extra couple of minutes to fiddle with the cartridge filter? Plus, seeing blown up MZR engines with spin on filters doesn't really give me much confidence for an engine that's already picky about oil flow (like in this video: |
Solid day. Changed my oil with the proper oil filter wrench for the s2k. Learned how to use a two post lift - bay rental with tools and ASE certified mechanics to go to for advice was $20 for half hour, or $47 for the hour. Next Time: Doing oil, diff fluid, and pads. Question: What kind of a bleeding tool should I get if I want to be able to bleed my brakes by myself at the track side? https://i.imgur.com/S8Tb6j2.jpg |
Motive Brake Bleeder |
