honestly, if there was no damage done, id rather just take it home and clean it myself too than let them hand the keys over to a lot boy and make it even worst

id still confront them though

Had a custom H pipe made and installed by Rise. Car sounds great now compare to the straight set up I had with no crossover pipe.

So..Im not sure where to post this....but here goes...

Went to Brian Jessel Autohaus for an Oil change; booked an appointment for 130pm and it was suppose to be a 45min-1hr job. Ends up being 3hrs and no courtesy car (3rd time this happened to me at Brian Jessel Autohaus)...Service Advisor told me to go hangout at McDonalds for 3hrs using their free wifi. I laughed at him and the ridiculousness of the situation.

Get my car back looking like this...The oil actually was sprayed down the side of my car too. All my wheels had grease marks on them from his visual inspection and so did my door sills and drivers door. Im surprised that he didnt get grease on my steering wheel and seats.

A friend linked me to your post; I work at Autohaus, not necessarily a tech or a salesman, just the part-time web guy there. I'd like to help resolve this as the managers at Autohaus are pretty serious about customer service issues such as this.

I'll send you a PM with contact info if you'd like to have this issue cleared up and fixed. The issue has already been brought up with them and they're more than willing to speak with you on the matter.

Installed exhaust, new shifter bushings, filled tranny fluid, checked all other fluids, wired stereo, replaced sideview mirror, washed car, test drove, cleaned up my mess.

Changed manual tranny fluid, lubed shifter bushings, waited for more than an hour at a junkyard for a wheel, washed and waxed the car, now waiting at tire shop to get tire mounted on the new rim.

Acura604 10-06-2012 05:31 PM

removed my 'limo' tint.

When i purchased this car, it had this super dark 5% tint on rear 3 windows...so i took a handheld steamer ($40 at walmart)...steamed up windows at high heat.. began peeling the tint.. the glue would pretty much melt with the heat of the steam and basically rubs right off. would have cost me $150 to get it done at whatever tint shop.

Plan is to tint a bit lighter next spring but this dark stuff look was way too dark for my liking.

westopher 10-06-2012 05:42 PM

Good choice. I think dark tint on anything smaller than a 7 series takes away from the cleanliness (and drivability) of the car.

reza 10-06-2012 06:01 PM

turned the boost down cause the clutch isn't holding the torque anymore :(
adjusted afr&timing
sent an oil sample for analysis to blackstone labs
