What I would do for a set of Blue Volks for my model 3... I think there are a few sets in Vancouver and last time when they were for sale, they all wanted like $6000-$7000 (with tires, but still) |

I'll never understand the obsession some people have with paying obscene money for "real" wheels. |
^ Me neither, people act like there's some kind of mystery to making wheels... I mean, there definitely are manufacturers out there with dubious quality control and spokes that break, but they are few and far between. Others are heavy as fuck, but that's a personal choice I guess. Ironically, the most well documented recent cases of those occurrences that I can remember were on HRE wheels, which are some of the most expensive wheels on the market. I'm looking at stuff that's in the $2k range... like more expensive than an Enkei but less than, say, even a Rays wheel. Honestly I would buy a Rays 57DR right now if I could, but these are the colours they are currently available in: Black: https://images.customwheeloffset.com...lack_white.jpg Blue: https://images.customwheeloffset.com...earl_white.jpg Bronze: https://images.customwheeloffset.com...nze2_white.jpg Gun Blue 2: https://images.customwheeloffset.com...blue_white.jpg Like what the fuck is that? Why can't I just get a simple lighter or medium grey wheel? And don't be fooled by the stock photo, Gun Blue 2 is NOT grey, it's totally frickin blue, this is Gun Blue 2 in real life on a Supra: https://www.supramkv.com/attachments...8e-jpeg.54486/ None of these colours would look good on a blue car... MAYBE the bronze but I'm not personally into it... the choices are so blehhhhh |
Superspeed makes Advan/Rays like reps for much cheaper, and are still decent quality. |
Costco makes wheels. Get those for your soup rah https://www.c-wheels.ca/en/ I tried for my ratrolla. No bueno. Will get some for the Camry. |

In fact, in supra sizes... only flat black and bronze. It's bizarre. |

Owooowowowowo ufo looking wheels |
I'm running Titan7 right now, no complaints. I was looking into Apex forged as well. There's a few more botique forged wheel brands that are decent. You can even run M3 wheels https://www.supramkv.com/attachments...22-jpeg.96860/ Good luck keeping them clean though |
As theres a lack of mods for the C7, when i was away on vacation i designed rear window grilles in photoshop. Plus a render on the C7 to see how it would look. Brushed aluminium ACM Image below is photoshop, not actual product on car. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...a78064dd_b.jpg A few months later i reached out to some CNC shops, got pricing, and revised a new file, product showed up. 1/8" aluminium ACM. At the time i was not sure why the edges are all rough, but turns out the CNC shop messed up. I sanded them down, and taped off the backsite https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...42e06585_b.jpg Test fit onto the car with just a few bits of tape holding it on, and the honeycomb poking out https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...a7f09eda_b.jpg Looked kind of rice / mismatching, so i took it off and repainted gloss black. Havent painted in a while and went way too heavy on the first coat, a couple of runs  Let it dry for a few days, wrapped it in clingwrap when placing on car as its still curing, slapped it onto the car. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...f686813a_b.jpg Final product came out pretty dam good, im still debating if i want to get it redone in regular aluminum sheet and get it properly painted. May also resize the file to match the window lines properly, i had to guess the dimensions, you can see the edges dont match up exactly. I was worried the ACM would be too thick, but you cant even tell its on the car from a distance, only in daylight you can somewhat tell its there. Well and up close its obvious. Final product: https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...46e19986_b.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...a95c0d83_b.jpg CNC 1/8" brushed aluminium ACM 240$ shipped Paint 30$ Doublesided tape 30$ Product design: 2hrs Converting photoshop file to .DXF / .AI 1hr Sanding / taping 0.5hr Paint 1hr Install 0.5hr |
Why are you trying to turn your car into a mustang:troll: |

Did you try sendcutsend? Haven’t priced it myself but trying to get something laser or water jet locally is a joke. |
I mean you cant blame local shops, any of those places pretty much have a 2hr minimum + 75-200$/hr shop rate + material mark up Il take a look into sendcutsend if i do a second run and its no good from local shop Local shop was CNC604, their rate was 1/3 of my usual sheetmetal fab shop i use for work |

Not to mention gun blue 2 is impossible to refinish. I have a set and might just send them off to get redone in a different colour. Spoiler! |
Needed to replace my oil fill cap on the valve cover. Followed instructions to gently pry off the oil fill cap, ended up breaking one of the 3 tabs holding the cap in place. The new cap goes on fine with just 2 tabs and the cap can turn shut, but I guess the seal isn't great and I get mad fumes in the cabin now. Fucking plastic BMW valve covers man. Gotta replace the whole fucking valve cover now when it's not due for replacement yet. |
Did some wiring repair with shiny new OEM parts, swapped the door lock/latch and drowned the new one in silicone spray, and finally tossed on the wing extension that's been in my basement for like 2 years. https://i.imgur.com/81Kknc1.jpeg https://i.imgur.com/tvXT19w.jpeg https://i.imgur.com/A78uRIG.jpeg |

If TE37, then Formula Silver/Mercury Silver With brake dust, it'll be gunmetal lol. Or white wheels on a blue car would be sick.. but very LOUD. Kinda like Thomas' white on white bmw LOL. Also AdvanGT is the new TE37 |
^ They don't make Supra size in Formula Silver anymore, otherwise I would have bought it... out of production for 2 years now. They do make it in some brilliant silver or something... it looks like flat white/silver, it's not great... super plain. Also don't want TE's because played out. You're right, a lot of Supra guys run Advan GT's... they're okay, but I don't personally feel like 5 spokes suit the car. |
