I was confused by the dual valve stem holes so I had to look it up
"The NT03+M also features a racing twin valve design which allows for accurate monitoring while adjusting the pressure."

Those dual valve stem wheels seems gimmicky to me. How many race cars do u see running them.

I put new low beam bulbs in the Grand Cherokee and it finally rolled out of the garage today, nothing fell off after a quick zip down the street so time to book an alignment. The only sketchy part is I'll have to go down the highway to get to the good 4x4 shop so we'll see how that goes lol.
Of course the Celica picked up on this and decided to want attention now too. The random overboost code I had been chasing and thought I'd fixed came back. This time though I got what may be a hint, the speakers started going nuts with popping and squealing even with the volume turned to 0. It was almost comical moving it around to get it into the driveway today, slamming the door and pulling the steering wheel down made the speakers pop lol. So I'm assuming there's a ground issue somewhere. I've got 6 weeks to get it sorted before it has to be able to make it to Campbell River for the Coast to Coast TSD.

Not bad. I recently bought a pair of jugs of Royal Purple. I would never have bought it otherwise, but it worked out to $23/5L.

Crappy tire doesn't carry Mobil1 euro 5w-40. They have Castrol 5w-40 (which is what the adolfmobile recommends). Right now Pennzoil and Castrol are cheaper at walmart https://www.walmart.ca/en/search?q=5...name%3AWalmart
But Costco has the cheapest price for Castrol right?

In short, I think yes, Costco generally has the cheapest unit price for Castrol. Cross shop with Canadian Tire, but I think Walmart (based on the screenshot you shared) has the lowest unit price at the moment.
You are right that Canadian Tire doesn't have Mobil 1 5W-40. I think it's a dying oil weight, and Mobil 1 has not carried it in a while. If you can hold out, Walmart will drop the prices a tad more on Pennzoil 5W40 later on.
If you feel like ballin' out, Napa Canada has Motul 5W40 on sale for I think $57.99 per jug. My next oil change on the Boxster is Walmart SuperTech 5W40.

I'm not sure what the consequences might be to use non compliant oil in your 987, but at least in the engine department, I'd trust them Porsche engineers. (N-spec tires, on the other hand, can kiss my a$$.)

With all the bore score issues in those eras, I don't think I would trust the Porsche engineers TBH. Buy some oil you like and change it often.

I wish Kirkland had a euro oil. Finding LL-01 oil is pretty annoying if I wanna save a dollar.

Buy some oil you like and change it often. | Funny enough, the label shows it's A40 compliant, but I don't think it has true approval. Regardless, I kind of stopped caring whether the oil is compliant or not for a few reasons.
1. It's a 986 (not 987) and it's got rock chips, scratches, dents, and dings. it's not a show car and it will never reach 993 God status. From 10 feet away, it looks great. Up close, most people run the other way.
2. It spends most of its running hours these days doing track duty, so hitting the rev limiter is nothing short of a surprise. I had an engine compression and leakdown test to see what's going on and surprisingly, a very healthy engine at 150,000KM. This is a car I agreed with my wife that if I wreck it at the track or the engine blows up, it's perfectly okay. Heck, most people's "beater" cars here on RS are worth more.
To westopher's point: I don't put enough mileage on the car in a year (no more than 5000KM) so I change out the oil every 3 or 4 track weekends. Using SuperTech, that's a bit over $60 in oil per year. On the Corolla iM, I change it out every 6000KM and that's on 0W20.
Castrol stopped paying the fees to Porsche to get their oils approved but a lot of shops buy in bulk from Wakefield Canada for the shop. Pfaff, whose oil sponsor is Motul, runs on Castrol.
N-spec tires - I run Hankooks and Badhobz had a heart attack.

5w40 liquimoli on the s52, 15w50 motul on the s14. Again, I ignore the intervals. When I ran 8k intervals on the s52 I'd have to top up a quart every 1500km on the s52 after 5k. If I do an oil change at 5k, I never burn anything at all. Oil level is near max when it's drained.
S14 I change once a year which is like 1k miles. Maybe overkill, but fuck $100 every year isn't a worry so keep it fresh. Especially if it's sitting.
I believe 10w60 is recommended for s54. Like I said though, type matters much less than intervals. Once it starts breaking down it makes things much worse quickly.

Motul 10W60 for the S54 here. May change to Liquimoly instead from FCP in the future.
