Becareful in Brazil. You don’t exactly blend in so well. |
Yeah, defs using my burner phone and all. Sao Paulo was pretty easy last time since they have a lot of asians there. Some ppl at the other hostel got kidnapped but the local areas actually seemed safer than the American ones (esp Leblon holy shit, so many people got robbed) |

The 1.5 is not good even when stock they really be trying to tune a motor with toothpick head bolts & con rods |
Tuning a 1.5L econ car just has poor decision-making written all over it. |

Don't even talk to me about how easy your cars get dirty in Vancouver, you guys are soft as fuck... can't even wash my car at home and I'm lucky if I can get 100 feet from the carwash before it's covered in shit again. I don't know why anyone in AB buys a black car, that's certifiable decision making. |
I gave up on mine years ago. I pressure wash the crap off but it hasn't had a proper wash in ages. |

Sorry. My bad. I keep jerking off on/next to your car. All those body prints / hand prints / ass prints are mine. |
I just got my car back on Friday, paid 3k (parts and labour) to have everything FIXED. The car had KW v3, Eibach sway, some hardrace parts installed at 4000km, the original shop was horrible and didn't know shit about suspension, which created multiple noise from front and rear. This year the rear went even worse, so I brought the car to a reputable suspension shop, let them have the car for a week to check everything. The earlier Model 3 suspension parts should have quality issue, also they put SR parts on Performance model definitely not going to hold up. https://teslamotorsclub.com/tmc/atta...f-jpg.1101541/ https://teslamotorsclub.com/tmc/atta...9-jpg.1101542/ They fixed the following: 1. Replaced front upper arm with Hardrace (hard rubber) 2. Replaced front lower curve arm with Hardrace (hard rubber) 3. Replaced front strut mount and re-torque all the screws on the KW 4. Replaced all KW bump stoppers (the stock one are all cracked) 5. Replaced both rear knuckle upper bushing with Hardrace (the pillow ball) 6. Fixed the rear subframe squealing problem 7. Fixed rear seat squealing. 8. Suspension tweak and alignment (the rear height was off 1cm, now it is -2 front camber deg and -1.5 rear) #1. https://teslamotorsclub.com/tmc/atta...4-jpg.1101552/ #1/2 https://teslamotorsclub.com/tmc/atta...2-jpg.1101553/ OEM bushing cracked https://teslamotorsclub.com/tmc/atta...6-jpg.1101560/ #4 https://teslamotorsclub.com/tmc/atta...2-jpg.1101554/ #5 new bushing for rear knuckles https://teslamotorsclub.com/tmc/atta...0-jpg.1101556/ #6 rear subframe issue [before] https://teslamotorsclub.com/tmc/atta...4-jpg.1101557/ fixed https://teslamotorsclub.com/tmc/atta...8-jpg.1101559/ |

My AliExpress success was short lived. Ethernet cables, great! Headlight bulb not so much. $20 part so I guess it should be expected. The base of the bulb separated from the bulb body when I installed it. This whole job was an epic fail. I went into it thinking it would be as easy as my E46s - a 10 mins job - 15 mins tops. I forgot that a 2015 car is now ten years old and shit is CRUSTY and that well modern cars have so much shit crammed in there it's impossible to not have to take shit out to do a headlight bulb swap. I took out the windshield fluid resovoir, moved the fuse box and took out the battery to gain access lol. It took me 90 mins to even get the old bulbs disconnected. I put in the AliExpress bulb and found out that it's broken lol - the base spins freely from the light body. It's really only pressed onto a gasket.. that very easily failed. I ended up going to Lordco to pick up Philips NightGuide Platinum thinking that it would be a drastic difference in light output so that my brother could have a safer experience. And I was hoping that all this work wasn't a fruitless endeavor. It was. I can't tell the difference between a top tier halogen bulb and having only one headlight bulb. I find headlights don't make a ton of difference on a major road nowadays as the street lights in Vancouver are pretty good. The time where headlights make a HUGE difference is when you are navigating a side street where there's one street lamp, or a back lane with no street lamps. The throw of the modern LED units are pretty good. All the BMW products we've had all have LED headlights. I just wish they weren't so blue sometimes. Don't even bother putting LEDs on a bulb shape thing in a regular or projector housing that's not made for it. I did it on my Miata and the headlights were useless. Huge deadspot in the middle where it mattered, but the bright bits weren't that bright either. You'll never get optimal throw with LEDs trying to mimic a traditional bulb. |
I'm spoiled by LED in the FK8 LOL. Even when I drive the F10 with bixenons, it can't even compare. It definitely goes to show, lighting has come along way. I'm definitely in the "no HIDs/LEDs in reflector housing" camp, but everyone seemed to be doing it and it seemed to be working for everyone. But what you described there is exactly what I saw - deadspot in the middle LOL. Apparently it's cause of the bulb shield in the reflector housing. You can cut it off.. but I'm not gonna do that for this car. |
You need to moisturize |
