Screw the wheels, too lazy to sit down and clean them for another 30mins

You need a wheel brush.

fixed my hid that broke...had to take off the wheels and front part of the fender liner to get to the hole...wait a pita

Not really done to my vehicle today, but more like, over the past few days.

Got my JDM spoiler on Monday, started to prep the car and the spoiler itself so I can fit it. Painting the entire car this winter anyway, so no shortcuts!

Took the rear wing off, found some rust and have been sanding it away. Still have a final bit to get rid of. Then started filling in the deep scratches and gouges on the wing. Also been helping a couple of people with (badly) painting their lips, so all the paint fumes, bondo and other random crap flying around can't be good for my lungs, even with a mask lol.

Pics spoilered, just cuz.

That's what I had to do when one of the HIDs burnt out :pokerface:

Yodamaster 12-12-2012 11:07 PM

Excuse the dump, I can't access the journals section yet.

Continued stripping the remaining parts of the quarter panel off. Then it's rust repair, and a new quarter panel goes in it's place.

Lights on

The whole process took about 1.5 hours to do and I'm pretty pleased with the result! It looks like the color is mismatched by a little but you can't really tell in person, must be the camera flash.

Finally got around to re-installing my HID's.

Damn bulbs are so expensive so I only ordered the one that was burnt out. I forgot bulbs color changes to more blue-ish as they age. So now I have one blueish bulb and one pure 4300K bulb.

:facepalm:

oh well, atleast im not blind at night now :fullofwin:

Forgot to mention, I'm going start removing my interior wood trim tonight so I can replace it with the "fineline" wood trim which has a matte finish.

Here's what the matte finish looks like;

Never been a fan of wood trims, but that one's pretty nice.
