I should wash mine.. but it's full of holes right now, too lazy to mask up.
But I did continue paint prep. Took of more of the side trim, and removed almost all of the badges. The MR2 one between the reverse lights is staying, I'll just have it masked when it goes for paint. And man, the trim and lights on the front bumper were a total biatch to take off, I've never been scratched so much by a fender liner and splash guard.
The trim above the rear side vent requires me to take apart some of the interior to get at one nut holding it in from the inside, gonna wait for my dad to do that, since I have a terrible history of snapping and breaking interior trim Also gotta remove all that adhesive later, oh joy.
Edit: Got one of the side vents off just now, man it was a pain. I'll do the other one tomorrow or something.
Spoiler!
its the seat belt assembly that gets in the way. held on by one bolt. unbolt that then you have access to the two bolts holding onto the trim/ vent!

Yeah, I figured that out :P I just happened to do the driver side first, so my sub, then trim then seat belt assembly had to come out. Pass side was easier, less crap in the way haha.
Began the painful proccess of polishing aluminum , my upper intake manifold. I die grinded off this lip if you notice its gone in the 3rd pic on the lower front of the mani
this is just dry sanding to 420 grit, gonna get all the pitting and orange peely crap off then move to wet sanding then eventually polish

Looks like you've passed the "Oh god, why'd I start this? It looks like shit right now and so much work to go. My hands are killing me." stage and onto the "2/3 of the way there. This is going to look killer." stage

New tires, painted bush bar and removed bug deflector. Pretty happy with the look. Just needs black grill, black wheels and lower part of two tone black

trying to do an alarm install on the wintegra.... ended up spending the whole morning removing the old install by Mickey mouse.. haven't even gotten half way through
sorry bout large pic I up loaded from phone.
Best investment I made, was a set of winter alloy wheels. Just say no to steelies!
I actually just sent a 2nd set of OEM ITR wheels to a powder coating shop and should get them back next week. I'm getting them sprayed in gunmetal so they don't look as bad when they're dirty and use them for my winters
What'd you do to paint the bushbar? They're usually made with shitty pc that ends up bubbling and chipping.
Not sure if I want to have mine blasted and re pc'd or just sand it and POR15.
Plastidipped right over top of the chrome. All I did was wipe it down and sprayed it. It was 0 degree outside so the spray pattern was a little wacky but it came out pretty good. Except I took off some paint the other night when I put it into a snowbank.
