Using ProTect Dip to paint the badge. Turn out greater than plastidip. Protectdip is smoother on surface than plastidip. 2 layers total. 1 layer of black and 1 layer of gold. Color changes when the lighting change. http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8085/8...59fa872d_b.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8513/8...59b347ef_c.jpg |
Opinions? Thinking of taking the winters off and putting my set of general g-max as-03 on. They are known as 'all weather" while quite not winter tires...a sort of hybrid for light snow. The generals are mounted on my 18s so my car can look sexy again ...should I do it? Here we are in Feb and temps are averaging 4-7 with just rain rain rain. |
^not yet. Nobody knows winter weather in Vancouver. |

insurance for my beater runs out mid february. i'm throwing my summer car back on the road, i should be more worried than you! |
Did a very quick wash, polish, and wax today on my teg. Didn't do the front bumper though since I was tight on time, though looking back at it right now I probably should have :/ http://sphotos-f.ak.fbcdn.net/hphoto...88227376_n.jpg |
just bought an exhaust system for my e46 m3 :) Loving the titanium tips! https://fbcdn-sphotos-a-a.akamaihd.n...95711704_n.jpg |
Cleaned out the engine breather hose on Butternut (yellow condensation snot - happens in the winter :\) Did a valve adjustment on my fathers MG; everything went better than expected - only busted one knuckle. I was going to do one on the Mini but I don't have a spare valve cover gasket handy, they're cork and can rip easily, so it will have to wait until next week. |
Started on this today... http://sphotos-e.ak.fbcdn.net/hphoto...56716336_o.jpg ... only to have my hub nut refuse to budge despite my best efforts. |
As noted in my earlier posts above...winter stockies OFF..18" A-SPEC "all-weathers" ( general g-max AS03) ON http://img507.imageshack.us/img507/4...9772362698.jpg http://img442.imageshack.us/img442/3...9772496704.jpg |
1 Attachment(s) What I did to my Car today you say? Does this count? LOL Fuuuckk... 134.5/l |
^^ Only if you pumped the gas yourself. :p |
took her out and then changed the oil :woot2: |
Changed notorious passenger engine mount on the Mazda3. I was going to wash a couple of the cars today but out of soap. |
Replaced radiator, no more "hey buddy theres smoke coming outta your hood" |
Spent almost an hour picking out all the little rocks stuck in the tires |
replaced the pcv on my loyale. |
warning: instagram picture http://sphotos-g.ak.fbcdn.net/hphoto...43341858_n.jpg finished 80% of all the things that needs to be done this winter putting the clam back on, then its onto my final aero products :) |
Tested my new crimper out and made a larger starter cable. Also removed my ecu and tons of useless factory wiring. Once started the diesel only needs 1 wire to run. |
Did a coolant flush on my Jeep, everything was getting a bit nasty so I ran a tonne of water through it. The thirsty mofo takes like 7L of coolant. |
Tried fixing the rust on my winter beater but didn't work out too well so I just did an oil change lol |
Partially peeled plastidip off one wheel. fml for not putting a thick enough coat on before. Also the spokes are killing me .......enkei nt03+m Posted via RS Mobile |
