Using ProTect Dip to paint the badge. Turn out greater than plastidip.
Protectdip is smoother on surface than plastidip.

2 layers total. 1 layer of black and 1 layer of gold. Color changes when the lighting change.

Opinions? Thinking of taking the winters off and putting my set of general g-max as-03 on. They are known as 'all weather" while quite not winter tires...a sort of hybrid for light snow.

The generals are mounted on my 18s so my car can look sexy again ...should I do it? Here we are in Feb and temps are averaging 4-7 with just rain rain rain.

I ran Nokian WRG2 All weathers last 2 years on my civic and did fine. They did pretty well going up cypress but I would still run dedicated winters if you plan on going to Whistler or something

Acura604, Do you realize you are always the 1st to ask every year, " Should I swap my winter tires out ?"

IMO, You shouldn't get winter tires in the 1st place

Did a very quick wash, polish, and wax today on my teg. Didn't do the front bumper though since I was tight on time, though looking back at it right now I probably should have :/

Cleaned out the engine breather hose on Butternut (yellow condensation snot - happens in the winter ) Did a valve adjustment on my fathers MG; everything went better than expected - only busted one knuckle. I was going to do one on the Mini but I don't have a spare valve cover gasket handy, they're cork and can rip easily, so it will have to wait until next week.

Changed notorious passenger engine mount on the Mazda3. I was going to wash a couple of the cars today but out of soap.

Tested my new crimper out and made a larger starter cable. Also removed my ecu and tons of useless factory wiring. Once started the diesel only needs 1 wire to run.

Did a coolant flush on my Jeep, everything was getting a bit nasty so I ran a tonne of water through it. The thirsty mofo takes like 7L of coolant.
