Finally got my axle out.

Swapped that out. Then did my front rotors and pads. And an oil change. Productive weekend, despite the fact that it was pouring rain.

Adjusted my throttle cable today. Scumbag Honda for placing it in such an inconvenient location on the Element. Had to take off half the intake and a relocate a bunch of wires to access the throttle cable, not that it was difficult, just a hassle.

No more play in throttle

Spent a total of around 8 hours detailing my winter beater last night, no idea why.. I guess the teg is really starting to grow on me. Did a full claybar, polish, and wax on the entire car and now every single panel is slippery smooth :) Got rid of quite a bit of haze and swirls on the paint. Now my integra's paint looks slightly better than my 370 :s In a few weeks when I have my 370z back off of jackstands I should probably give that car a thorough detail as well

All unedited cell phone pictures.. Actually surprised a noob like me was able to get out some swirls and make the car have a deep black color again

Car feels a bit more responsive and a tad louder than before.

^ removing the charcoal filters alone will give you a couple of HPs....

Got bored of my Nokya hyper yellow fogs and changed them to hoen xenonmatch. While not quite a perfect HID match, it'll do until I go with HID fogs.

better than new! :fullofwin: always thought it was more of a solid black than a metallic black... my old 96' was no where near as nice paint wise.

http://sphotos-b.ak.fbcdn.net/hphoto...20055321_n.jpg

got mine back after spending two weeks in the body shop...

did the following:

- lowered on springs
- 5 zigen pro racer cat back
- Cusco rad cap
- Blackworks tow hook in red.

waiting for... progress rear sway bar kit, blox front sway bar (too lazy to go get it.. ), a lip and CTR rear wing with carbon centre

kakucaekz 02-06-2013 04:05 PM

^ I'm assuming the damage is all fixed now? Pics :]

quite pissed off icbc didnt write it off. rear quarter was tweaked along with a small part of the rear frame. they decided to pull it.

im still choked that the fact that my car got rear ended while being parked on the street.

Don't see a problem if I have no trouble selling my own cars... :suspicious:

IIRC damage has to exceed 70% or somewhere around that of the book value for it to be written off

Haha thanks! Other than the hazed paint and swirls, the previous owner did a pretty good job at keeping the teg in decent condition :) Lucky for me

He's trying to say you go through cars more than most of the people here go through underwear :lawl:

kakucaekz 02-06-2013 08:37 PM

But with underwear, you can flip them inside out and reuse them. Same can't be said for a car :lawl:

fliptuner 02-06-2013 08:45 PM

someone say underwear? :troll:
