Did you have to reprogram the remote on the switch blade fob?

DJ Milk 02-15-2013 05:59 PM

It looks like one of those ones where you have to remove the inside on the old remote and install it into the new casing so don't need to program.

stripped out the center console of the Prelude, and trimmed down the extra plastic that sits under the front of the boot. looks much better now

Got off work early so I ended up putting in the turbo inlet hose the hard way... Won't be able to put it back together cause Subaru won't have my gaskets till next week.

Delete 30% metal bolts under Engine bay, swap in the alumium washer kits. It saves 2 KG weights. 30% finished, 70% to go. So tired.

Jobo 02-16-2013 01:38 PM

Raged.

Went to wash my car, halfway through waxing outside it started raining. Had to haul ass back home into my parking garage and re-wax half my car :okay:

The Weather Channel is seriously very, very unreliable most of the time.

Made a new rad shroud for the volvo fan. Cost less than $20 for everything. Just need to weld the tabs on.

Volvo electric fans are really nice. I got 2 setups for $60. They are a 2 speed fan and have a nice self contained relay unit that ramps up the fan so there isn't a huge amperage draw like a taurus setup.

I'm doing all this to install a 2000+ vitara rad so my hoses are routed better for the diesel swap.

On the daily I...
- tightened ebrake cable
- tightened the nut that comes with the Blox 490g shift knob so the knob part of it centers properly
- ripped apart center console to install new aux. input cable that goes in the back of my deck
- took the opportunity to reroute the power cable through the console to the cigarette lighter for the dash cam

Been itching to insure the Miata but told myself I wouldn't until a few days before the Spring meet... trying hard to abide to this!
