Changed my oil today and diagnosed the my dead right speaker.
Turned out the the strain relief on the wires popped off from the door and loosened up the connectors.
I'm also brainstorming ideas to invisibly mount my old speakers in the rear of my ef hatch.

PO only had two bolts holding it on, and we were pulling parallel to the bolts, sheared all the threads. Stupid PO for halfassing his shit and stupid me for not checking it. Just gotta weld it on and call it a day.

went to install a ueo rear strut bar, requires 3 holes to be drilled at each side of the strut tower, the seam sealer would need to be stripped off at the contact points. also the rear end of the bar bolts to the rear bumper mount replacing the original bolt that holes it up. after 27 years the bolts have found themselves a nice home and decided not to leave without a fight

... im never going hit 500 posts at this rate

Never got a chance to try Z1's. But Z2's are surprisingly good in the wet weather today.

More work done on my engine today

put the flywheel on first

then clutch disc

and pressure plate

Also removed EVERYTHING at the front of the car so the engine and tranny should slide in with ease. that will be tomorrow

cut 1 out of 4 rusty sections of rocker panel off my crx

then i cut a replacement piece off my donor car. TIP: use arrows so you know which side of the line to cut on!

but even with arrows, i still fucked up so i had to do it again.

piece held in place with a magnet

didn't weld it since it's too windy and the welder is running out of gas. i'll do it another day. so started working on the largest piece that needs to be replaced.

once i've cut the old piece off the crx i'll work the replacement piece into the correct shape/size.

What did I do to my vehicle today? More like what did other people to do my vehicle

Some guy in his F150 scraped my car when he was trying to park it with his running board.. of all things. Now my alignment's screwed too

He wants it settled privately because he says it's not that big of a deal, but I'm leaning towards claiming this

Who cares what he wants, unless he's stupid enough to pay way more than the damage is worth. Call ICBC and get it dealt with.
