Put my spring insulator back where it was suppose to be. Somehow came off and just dangled on the spring. Re-torqued the shock absorber bolts since I had the wheels off already.

did some minor work today on my newly acquired RSX, since it was a decent day.

Had to start with an engine bay clean. Before hand i checked my spark plugs (should probably replace...), air filter (looks clean), and cleaned the throttle body with some intake clean. I also found one breather hose that was basically disconnect/not properly on. Car never skipped a beat or showed a CEL.

now a somewhat clean engine. much better!



Then i got bored and did some polishing to see how well the paint would come out. To my surprised a lot of scratches, dullness, and marks came off and the paint looked great. Gotta love white paint sometimes! I only polished half of the car by the time i got lazy.

Remolded/cut fender liners and put in new o2 sensor.



Tried to figure out why my driver side HID kept going out. The damn bulb is so hard to get at.. Thank god for skinny hands. Swapped sides and its just the bulb.


Also blacked out another pair of IS300 headlights!

Spent a whole day trying to wire in this old sub and amp combo I got for free, and trying to figure out why the wiring didn't work... Weird amp had no remote wire, and no rca's but had speaker connections... Spliced so many times just to figure out in the end that the actual amp/sub was dead and it wasn't my wiring that made it not work Sigh.



But since I'm practically done wiring everything, I'm just going to buy a new set up tomorrow and just hook that on instead... Used to hate these cover things in the engine bay but it does help hide wires, even if it's only one red one




And since my center console is out, started planning how to mount an ipad mini in there cleanly since my deck doesn't have navi. Going to use the ipad for navi, and also have a huge list of songs and movies on there Excited, just got everything planned out and the lid can still clamp on with no problems for a clean look

cool, i had a 10.5:1 A6, i milled .040" off the head hahah. very budget. i used a 1st gen integra ECU which has more fuel and a more aggressive timing map i think. i was going to build a 1mm over 11:1 compression one with LS rods but the car fell apart. the block and pistons are still sitting at the machine shop

i have a soft spot for the single cam D series engines. not the most potent but they're cheap, you can buy them for almost nothing and just keep blowing them up!

they are pretty bullet proof, but im looking to daily 200whp, not hard with a little boost best thing about hondas, cheap! you are never stuck with just one setup, you can change it with experience and never break the bank

200whp in a 2100lb car is plenty of fun for me

Helped bos_DC2 clean and fix a headlight, reseal.
Front brake pads on mom's 318i.
Cleaned out my air filter, which was nasty.
Sealed one of my headlights. One more to go.
