bought a 240, needs work. Someone from G5 helped me with it but I forgot to ask for his name . Cleaned the maf, checked for leaks, checked timing, put in new gas because the car had been sitting for 8 months to no avail. need to go back tmrw and tip him or something because I went in last minute and they told me they didn't have time for me and he helped me till closing to get the sr running right but we couldn't fix the issue.
So grateful for them to share some knowledge and to lend a hand to a stranded guy in Richmond.
Removed the front valance, gonna send it to a body shop for a respray.
Removed the rear seats and trim to figure out what is wrong with the window regulator...
and... ordered my suspension setup from Bavarian Autosport and Tire Rack
tried to fix my door lock but i realized that I could lock it if I pulled the door handle while pushing the lock. Saved me the hastle of taking apart the door lock and replacing it. such a pain in the ass spot. Also tried to replace the dashboard light but realized I'd need to take apart a lot more of the console then I thought. Would be easier just to find a new cluster with a working light.
a odd day to work on the car , but after work had sudden motivation lol
-changed spark plugs to cold range NGK Iridium 10's
-tested resistance on water temp sensor and all of my coilpacks
-Found 1 coilpack is dieing and the water temp sensor could use replacing so i replaced the sensor, and a few other small things
-did re-wiring
-Put teflon tape on the oil feed line going to the turbo.. the engine bay was quite bare at 1 point, here are 2 pics lol.
during fixing:
after :
& started first try ! Runs perfect now (maybe my problem was the water temp sensor) but going to replace the weak coilpack before i go in for dyno tuning

I removed my front wilwoods from CRX and installed EG Si brakes onto CRX. I found out I had 11" front disc and rear disc on the CRX. Still need to get find rear adapters to make it work on EG, other than that, I'll need ARP studs before I can install Wilwoods onto EG.
Diagnosed a Nissan Cima not runnin on all 8 cylinders today and sent injector #1 ouot for rebuild. It'll be goin back together tomorow morning.
Also started turbo charging a Mazda b2200. Customer brought me a "bolt on kit" that dont fit so I'll be modding the stainless manifold for top mount style and building a new down pipe and external wastgate.

This and also you should be using thread sealant not tape as the fibers from the tape can plug the #3 line if they get loose in there.
thank you for that important information gentleman! will get sealant , was first time doing a oil line totally did not think of that.. it had NONE before and was pissing out oil, but will fix this today

Swapped to my spare wheels today, then dropped by work to dismount tires from the Work Meisters.
After I loaded it all back into the car, I dropped off the wheels at greens to get the lips sanded down and polished to remove the corrosion and getting it nice and shiny again.
Washed and claybar my car today... its silky smoooooth...
