OHHHH It was while you were opening it... I thought you just meant driving with it closed. Was trying to figure out how the hell it was so low.

Reorganized the garage, test fitted mk1's wheels on his car, then on one of my cars....pics to come.

Sunny days are productive days.

edit: 19x9.5, +22, 225/35/19. Just chucked them on to get an idea of what specs I'm going to need to get the look I want. Yes, my unrolled fender is sitting on the tire...lol

Looks like I can easily run a 10.5 rear with a 255/30-35 and a +20-25mm offset. The front would probably get an 8.5-9, 225/40 and +35mm.

bloodmack 03-25-2013 08:26 PM

bled my cooling system for the billionth time :okay:

Vulgate 03-25-2013 09:11 PM

Changed back to crappy summer RFTs and broke my impact drill on the last wheel

Properly fixed my headlights, no more 'good enoughs' :haha: The right one just stopped flipping up and down at the meet yesterday; the linkage arm fell off on the drive over. I had one headlight popped up for about half an hour during the meet, lol. So I got it on a lift where it was easy to work on, and replaced the short bolts with longer ones. Seriously, the nut on the end had a super small amount of thread, no wonder it kept slipping off. Also, on the cruise home last night, the other headlight (the one that flipped up and worked) blew its ballast, so I swapped in a temporary one. Now my lights are different shades of 6000K lol. But now, one of the high beams doesn't work, and a fog burnt out. THESE LIGHTS MAN, THEY HATE ME.

Also washed the daily today, after 6 months of driving it super dirty.

Yes it slipped/failed when I took off the passenger side rim. I was talking to my friend on the phone then after like 5 mins it slipped/failed in front of me. It happen so fast. I usually use jack stand even for changing rims but got lazy that day. I would of been injured for sure if my friend hadn't called me :okay:

You would of been injured? Since when do you go under the car to change a wheel? :suspicious:

What kind of car? That must have been a weird spot in the underground to be able to snag any car that obviously sits pretty low.

I have to agree, Although it's looking like i won't be owning my FG2 for more than another month or so. I just can't seem to "love" this car.

TjAlmeida 03-26-2013 04:05 PM

Stripping most of the dash in the Corolla to get at the leaky heater core. Lots of things to keep track of, but not as bad as i thought!

Pics to come!

i dont exactly "love" mine either.

does make a good noise though. I loved my old ITR though, and the Si reminds me a lot of it.. although more comfortable, refined and just as fast.

hk20000 03-27-2013 12:16 PM
