Took it for a good, hard drive to and from tonight's meet....

That's what it's all about in the end, right, enjoying your car?

Limitless 04-25-2013 01:51 AM

Spent like 8 hours with some friends adjusting shit today with the kit, figuring out how to mount the plate, raising my coils :( drilling holes.. Not the most flattering picture taken at 2am at night... Super messy garage and can't really see shit in the picture lol

Threw in some yellow Eurolite 9005's to replace those ugly stock "pasty-white" DRL bulbs. :D

Began chasing down hard hot start symptom by addressing vapour lock.
Pipe insulation on fuel line from fuel pump (engine mount) to carb.

Got sick of waiting for Kelowna Toyota and got a replacement ebrake shoe pin from Lordco, got the rear brakes all back together but now my old brake lines are being a bitch.

Also started fiddling around with couplers to try and sort out a new intake.

Limitless 04-26-2013 12:30 AM

Holy shit spent the last two days living in my garage lol. Just finished raising all coils a bit, and fiddled around with the front bumper/fender liner so now everything fits :) Finished installing sideskirts as well, rear bumper is going in tomorrow along with the rear fog and reverse camera :)

Kit is still super dusty from sitting at the body shop for a few days after paint, car was just claybarred, polished and waxed so it's super shiny lol. Need to rinse off the dust on the kit when I'm done, right now it looks kinda funky

I HATE my driveway... always never getting traction on one of the rear wheels =_=
https://fbcdn-sphotos-f-a.akamaihd.n...33462230_o.jpg

And barely even able to make it out
https://fbcdn-sphotos-c-a.akamaihd.n...53414998_o.jpg

But so happy it's almost done :) front has been bolted, clipped and ziptied on. Sideskirts have like 8 bolts and 2 screws along with 3m tape so hopefully nothing will go flying off my car anymore.

i got it towed to my buddies shop! haha

alright, driving back from chilliwack to langley yesterday and my car shut off on the hwy. when i would try to start it the main relay would make clicking sounds and the starter motor would crank but that was it, couldnt tell if fuel pump was priming because cars driving by were so loud.

i assumed main relay was shot so i had a friend drop a new one off to the side of the road only for it to make the same noise *video under*... what else could it be and why would the relay make that sound?

The skirts in that pic look low because my driveway is at a retarded angle lool. I'm going to see how it is and if I do end up not clearing some stuff I'm going to raise it again, don't like the thought of scraping fiberglass :okay:
