Been smelling burnt clutch intermittently and recently found it a bit stiff going into gears after warming up/near the end of a drive...
Clutch fluid a little low, peeked under the dash and found the clutch master leaking again!
I'd put a Nissin one in last time, lasted about 8 years/90k km.
Had a spare Dorman one sitting around so stuck that in. It was Amazon warehouse deal for $12, 3 years ago lol. Just damaged packaging and new product. So far so good

Ordered the following parts for a MKIV Supra from BulletProof Auto(all authentic JDM):

- Top Secret Hood, Bumper, Side Skirt, Rear Diffuser, GT2 Wing
- Endless front BBK (maybe order the rear kit next year)
- Work Meister S1 3P wheels

Also getting an IGLA + Compustar Alarm installed on my Raptor this week. Even though I garage the truck, I have been super paranoid about theft just taking it to random stores and places. This will finally give me a lot more peace of mind.

and finally, will be getting new tires (again) for my track car:

old photo but I corded all of them lol

Wow... back in the days when you can just swap batteries in a German car, not some special 2 foot long battery that needs to be programmed.

Lol when I asked the clerk I accidentally said “for a 22 m3” and he was like “we those carry those kind of batteries, you can try Canadian tire but id imagine it’d be a special order item if you they can even get it”
I was like “for a 02 m3, really?” Then I realized I said 22 instead of 02. Out of curiosity I looked up g80 battery and it’s $2700

The MPE is the real treat in this package. Prev owner ordered the exhaust from AutoWest. While only an axleback, it definitely makes a big difference while not being obnoxious

I applaud your effort, it's so cold and windy I don't even want to walk outside. It was hailing a bit yesterday let alone wash and detail

Yea, it's honestly the perfect sounding exhaust for me.

Yea, it's a bad habit/addiction or whatever you want to call it. I just have to get started right away.

It was sitting at -3 front and -2.5 rear, so now its back to a conservative -1.5 all around.

So my guess is -- BMW made the rest of the car too heavy, so they had to try to offset the weight by installing a $2700 lithium battery?

Nice pick up! Why did you trade in the m2 with the wheels instead of putting them on the wagon?

Thanks. I sold the 437M off the M2 because they were destroyed. In hindsight, I shouldve kept them as spares but it is what it is.

That was pretty aggressive for a street car.

My garage is converted into a living space.
I store the m3 at my works gated parkade for safety and keeping it clean.

tbh we'll never know

my best guess is some combination of S55 dual injection & two water pumps + any sensor differences require higher current from the battery

we know that BMW/MB always been very aggressive with their power requirements, with water cooled alternators and whatever to run thier infotainment

MB also uses 48V Lithium battery to enable electric turbos, instant torque assist... and probably to reduce weight on the 63 cars.
