theoretically it would give you the offset to clear the tab that a regular box end or ratcheting box end could not, and may still allow you to attach a hose to the bleeder nipple
Just an idea i thought of HAHA actually never tried
With a carefully selected piece of hose you might be able to do it. Both of my kits have 90° adapters for different sizes that go on the end of the hose so they wouldn't work without a bit of modifying. Now that I know how it works I'll see if I can use something like that next time.

Yeah! Basically just a simple bulk clear vinyl hose/ tubing that fits over the nipple.
Something like that to adapt to your kit, or just into a drain pan

Spent the better part of the long weekend detailing the car. It took a total of 24.5 hours to get the job done and by hour 6 I just wanted to give up. I polished as many painted surfaces of the car as I could, which included the entire exterior, door jambs, hatch jambs, side mirror glass, muffler and tips, and the painted sections of the engine bay. Then I proceeded to apply touch up paint to maybe over 30 different rock chips spread across the car. I then ceramic coated everything that I polished. Following that, I took off the wheels to do a deep clean and refresh the coating on them as well. Since the wheels were off, I cleaned and dressed the fender liners just because.

It is wizardry, what you do to restore a car to showroom new.

Next week:

Hey guys I found this thing on the side of the highway, so I gave it a detail.

More like stupidity that I keep doing it over and over again even though I know how much it pains me to do so.

It wasn't that much more work since I already had the nano 1" polisher out

Pure insanity. Trust me I know. I'm clearly not in my right mind by buying a black car to maintain.

Nice work loong looks amazing. I took a long look at that car when Bic said it was going to dealershift because I know Roach personally... but ultimately the black turned me off #notracist

This car would have been big sad under my ownership lol... I'm sure it's very pleased with your attention to detail!

You should've bought it. Would've saved me a weekend of pain lol. I wasn't and still am not a fan of the black but it was the interior and options that had me sold. Aside from the detail, I've also gotten all the servicing up to date and had 11 dents removed. It could use a front bumper repaint since touch up paint can only cover up so much.

The insanity part is you do all this work then get rid of the car shortly after
I hope she’s a keeper.

Last week:
New front lip after chopping up my last one on track

This weekend:

Car started misfiring

no check engine codes except for 20 seconds once. Found cyl 5 misfire, with high LTFT bank 1 numbers, only found this through mode 6 on OBD2 settings.
I had no idea cheap scanners + an app could have this much information. Even my old 10 year old OBD2 bt worked with it.

Been replacing parts from cheap to expensive, corvette forums show wallet breaking bills if i bring it in.....

Then i found this all cylinders, intake valves. Controversy online if its normal for a DI engine with 30,000kms. Sounds like i need to install a catch can to help reduce it.

Praying to pope francis its an injector, and not a failed lifter. (Plugs/wires went on a few days ago, no change)

if only i had a garage to work on it and not my parkade.....

Funny part was when pacific GM called me yesterday for their routine "hey how are ya" phone call:
GM: hey just checking in, how has the car been?
Me: misfire on cyl 5, looking at the intake valves right now
GM: ...........
Me: alright talk to you next year

I don't think they WANT to, but it's the only way to meet EPA regs etc.

It's probably more a Corporate Average. Toyota would sell a lot less V8's in a year than Chevrolet.

The wifes Rav started making some noise around the accessory belt, so I popped the belt off and the tensioner pulley sounded terrible. Toyota will only sell the whole tensioner with a list price of something like $250. It's also got some weird bracket that means you have to remove a ton of stuff to swap it out. I didn't want to deal with that and since the tensioner itself felt fine I just took the pulley off and pressed the bearings out of it with a vice and some sockets. For some reason there's 2 of them with a sleeve inside. A quick call to a machine shop and fortunately that part number is a really common size. $20 later I had two brand new SKF bearings, a couple minutes with the vice had the pulley back together, and after putting it all back together it sounds like a normal engine again.

This is exactly why everyone should be able to do some basic diy. Got forbid your wife decides she wants a BMW. I am the warranty now, I can't afford to have it dealer serviced.

Yeah shop rates and the drop off/pick up time keep me DIYing even the things I don't want to do. Taking it in would've used up just as much of my time and cost probably $1500.
