Mileage Allowances Hey i'm doing a bit of research on mileage allowances. Can you guys post up what your company pays per km for your vehicle usage? Would be helpful too if you mentioned what industry or company you work for. Thanks |
My company pay's 50 cents per km |
My old company had formulas for vehicle size, passengers etc.. not a flat rate but $.50/km seems pretty damn good if you ask me. |
I'm at $.47/km |
50 cents/km as well, though i think it might be higher now. The reason its so high is to cover wear and tear as well. |
53 cents/km |
52 cents for us, plus 100 a month for the extra business use insurance we need to get |
crap I'm getting ripped off... |
^ if your getting anything less than 45 a km, its costing you money to drive your car for your company |
50cent |
$0.46/hr |

You should be paid as per CRA's auto allowance rates: The automobile allowance rates for 2012 are: •53¢ per kilometre for the first 5,000 kilometres driven; and •47¢ per kilometre driven after that. Automobile allowance rates |

When I was just a regular employee, it was 0.50c a Km When I became a manager I got a flat rate of $8500. I have to claim it as an expense on my income tax. I didn't even came close to using that amount over the course of the year though. |
what kind of job is this? |
A bit above 0.50c/km, forgot the exact number. |
.44 cents per KM but since we are typically on a site for extended periods of time, you only get milage after the first stop IE. go to the office, then drive to job site, you do not get milage from home to office, but you do from office to site |
