for a minute there i thought you said you didn't realize that your wife was dinosaur :)

Way back in the day, almost 7 years ago now, we meet through VPC.com and dated for a short time. Things just weren't right for us at that point in our lives.
Fast forward 7 years and we have been together for 9 months now and I could not be happier.

A car club brought us back together again.....thanks RS!

I met my wife through her mother. I work with her mom. She's in finance, and I am in charge of the IT. I helped her out with computer problems, regularly, and we have a lot of time to chat about family.

I got regular updates on what was happening with her daughters, and when she mentioned that her younger daughter was having treadmill assembly issues, I wanted to help. We agreed that I would help her daughter assemble the treadmill, and lunch would be provided. I really just wanted to help out my co-worker. I had no intentions of falling for anyone, especially when they're so much younger than I am.

So, I head over to my co-worker's house. I, briefly, see her daughter, and start on the treadmill. She pops in a few times, asking if I want anything to drink, or just how things are going. I also notice she's wearing a different top than when I first walked in. It was a shirt that had a lower cut. ;) I finished my work on the treadmill, and then we had lunch. She sat next to me and we talked about school and work. I felt that she might be interested, but I play it cool. I work with her mom! After eating, I left.

Before I knew it, I was thinking about her, and trying to come up with a way to see her again. She was a makeup artist, and she needed to expand her portfolio. I let her mom know that I could help her with pictures, and arranged a weekend to do it. After the photo session, we went for a drive. We decided to go to Harrison, and there by the beach, we sat, and I put my arm around her. She didn't pull away in disgust, and I knew I had her. :D

I met my wife back in 2002 while working in a pharmaceutical lab experimenting with diabetic rats, lol. She was the only other undergraduate student in the lab so we worked together a lot. I thought she was interested in me because she kept bringing me food and leaving me little cute notes/drawings. We hung out a few times outside of work and had a good time together. I finally asked her out on my birthday, turns out she already had a boyfriend (she never mentioned this!) and didn't know I was interested in her (thought we were just hanging out as friends!). I was so embarassed, lol. A few weeks later, she told me she broke up with her boyfriend, saying she enjoyed spending time with me a lot more than with her previous boyfriend. Got married in 2008.

Met at a shitty grocery store job we both had when we were in high school. Well she was still in high school, I had just graduated.

I was already in a relationship, but was unhappy.. She was also in a relationship, but was unhappy as well..

We flirted back and forth at work for a year or so. Then my girlfriend and I broke up.. Her and her boyfriend broke up as well.

Another year or so of flirting and hanging out, I finally ask her out. That was 3 years ago and we're still together today.

Pretty unconventional.. but hey, conventional's overrated..

We first met at a canucks tweetup. I already knew who he was because of twitter. We sat across each other since we have mutual friends. he discovered i play WoW (shut up it's fun dammit) and we had a nice long talk which involved both of us ranting about how blizzard ruined the game and certain classes need to be nerfed. got hammered at the bar in the process. Unfortunately, i was in a relationship with someone else at the time. we kept in contact and 9 months later i dumped my then bf. We started chatting more and hanging out. we fell in love while playing video games together, watching hockey, and watching anime. Yes, we're nerds. It's been over a year now. I couldn't be happier.

One random night at South Surrey Recreation Center. We were playing badminton and somehow we were paired up together. Played together and communicated very easily with each other so we exchanged numbers. Everything worked out great and I'm currently dating her. Everything is going smoothly.

right after ninth grade, during summer school
still together to this day :) even though we've had intense ups & downs

met her through PE class in gr 11 for her and 12 for me. She caught my eye a lot although i never understood why as she was the shy/quiet girl and i was the loud/goof in the class (not obnoxious though!) and everytime we would have to do laps for fitness i would try and run with her and just get to know her more..sadly i could never keep up (fatty ftl) anyways fast forward couple months and i kept talkin to her in other classes we had together and eventually she talked back. Then i would start to flirt a bit more and put my arms around her and tell our teacher that we are dating (teacher was like YA RIGHT SHES 5'3 AND YOU'RE 6'5) anyways fastfoward i graduated HS and she went onto gr 12 and we kinda lost connection between eachother until she started to msg me and wanting to go to the beach and stuff. she chased me for a good 6 months with me blowing her off (not cus i was being a douche, i just didnt wanna lose her friendship if we ever "broke" up ) in the end we both went to my buddies house (me + her and her friend + my buddy) and we started watching a movie and she came and laid beside me on the couch and we were jsut watching the movie until i felt her fingers squeeze in between mine and thats when i knew we were gonna be together. Coming up to 6 months and im so glad i didn't say no, even if it took a lil longer then she expected :fullofwin:

Met at the 2010 Revscene summer meet. According to her she saw me from afar, and when I came closer she didnt hesitate to make a move :p

Im glad she did though, its nice for the woman to make the first move once in a while.
