Inexpensive shop for simple spring install?

Did a quick search and surprisingly didn't find much... apologize to the mods if I missed something.

I'm looking for a good place to have an Eibach Pro-Kit installed in my Fit. I already have the springs. Can anyone vouch for a good shop that will throw these in for a good price?

Or does anyone have any experience with these guys? Welcome to KMF AutoMotive Ltd.

They have a $70 labour rate special going on right now..

Thanks in advance.

worked at KMF as a co-op there for highschool.

if they've changed for the better, then maybe.

Otherwise, I'd stay away lol.

Spend the extra bit of money and take it to a good shop. Remember you get what you pay for.

Give our vendors a call. Baring that, Dales is always top notch. They also do an alignment package after install, which is something i highly recommend you do regardless of who installs the suspension.

Aj racing is $250 for a spring install BUT it comes with alignment. Reputable shop with a pretty decent price. A regular alignment is 80-100$ If I remember correctly?

^yep.
I will of course say Gearheads. They can do the springs+alignment for about the same as AJ-R.

I'm looking to put coilovers back into my car,

how much more would that be ontop of springs?

Would need oem tophats to be swapped

aznsuperman 04-24-2012 07:42 PM

Call alex at speed syndicate their works are awesome

Over9K 04-24-2012 09:13 PM

Take it to the closest shop, seriously, it's not even that hard.

The fact that people are suggesting "performance" shops is :suspicious:

Very easy to do if you have a little bit of experience and a spring compressor.

Are you sure your stock shocks are valved correctly for lowering springs? It is important that your stock and spring rates are matched.

Ring up Alex @ The Speed Syndicate!

250 is pricey

Duff Beer 04-24-2012 11:50 PM

Don't forget to ask if you could pay CASH :)

Who can install tein s techs on my 350z and for how much and where r u located? :) thanks in advance
Preferably not far from surrey :)

kwy 04-27-2012 10:33 AM

Definitely make sure to get shocks that are properly valved for lowering springs, like the poster above mentioned. Otherwise, the stock shocks will wear out prematurely or the ride will be terrible.
