It is best for you to check the fine print.. to see what are the actual amount the insurance will cover you.. it varies with different cards / rental agencies etc. Don't just go for the cheapest one.
Honestly on the scheme of things it is not the collision insurance you have to worry about.. it is the liability insurance.
Toronto has no fault insurance, so comparing with Vancouver is like comparing apples and oranges.
