Just had my very first bbq today (despite the rain). My Baby Q cooked like a champ, but I'm having a hell of a time trying to clean the grill! I bought a wire brush and there are a bunch of stuck on parts that I can't get off! Any tips?

Did you try and scrub some of it off while the grill was still hot?

Looking to get a BBQ in the coming weeks, was looking at the Weber Q220 portable, it's just for a condo patio so can't have anything too big.

Anyone have experience or other recommendations of other BBQ's around the same size and price range? ($239.99@Home Depot).

I have a Weber Q120 which is the smaller version, it worked great, even cooking for 8 people!

Had our first BBQ of the season yesterday.

Steaks turned out amazing. Even though I overcooked it a little on purpose (still only medium). The right kind of salt and pepper makes the biggest difference.

One down, MANY more to do. Standing in front of the grill and cooking meat feels wonderful.

Also, Superstore's weekly flyer deal: buy $250 in groceries, get a free BBQ tool kit - spatula, fork, tongs, grille brush, skewes and corn handles, all in a carry case... plus bonus digital meat thermometer fork.

bump.

Seems like Weber is decent brand for a portable. I'm leaning towards the Q220, any other recommendations? What about the Coleman branded ones at Cdn Tire? Are they any good?

Which home depot? I've been waiting for that to go on sale.

Thanks

if you buy a $200 BBQ, odds are you will be spending another 200 in 2 years

we had a older Weber plain jane that lasted 10 years with no replacement parts until we replaced it with a vermont castings we got for free

spend 600/800 off the bat and dont look back
