220 Volt to 110 Volt

My father in law passed away a year and a half ago and my mother in law is moving in with us from New Zealand. She is bringing his cappuccino maker which I loved but its only 220-240 volt. Is there something I can buy that will make it work with the 110 volts we deal with?

Yes, they're called Voltage Transformers.

You're probably going to need and adapter as well since the plugs are different in Australia than it is here

Some appliances can still work with the reduction in voltage. You'll notice the machine working slower, but if all its functions still work then u're good to go! You can try that before buying a transformer if u want and save a couple bucks

ps:Just never try that when you're testing a 110v appliance on a 220v outlet.
