Inlove top gear uk, its the only REAL car review. Give a car show a enzo and see what they have to say about it: nothing but praises. But on top ear they would find all the small problems and blow them out of proportion, which is ok, BECAUSE THESE CARS are 500 grand + so they arent allowed to have any mistakes.
no the best part about top gear is the fact that they dun just drive the car then say stuff about, they put it though tests that are as close as real life as possible
cuz i dun really care about the ride comfort as compare to breaking down in the middle of the road in my 2nd drive in my used car
Fear not, Top Gear lovers! Mark November 19th down in your calenders as that's the release date for their latest pre-Christmas DVD, The Worst Car in the History of the World!
A rough analysis of the comments across TopGear.com this year reveal that approximately 21% contain some variant of one plaintive plea: ‘when exactly are you back on TV?’ Well, the answer to that is next January, but in the meantime, here’s some very good news for those missing their dose of new Top Gear.
This November, Mr Jeremy Clarkson and Mr James May will present their opinions on The Worst Car in the History of the Worldin a brand new, all exclusive Top Gear DVD. Everyone has an opinion on bad cars (and feel free to share yours below), but now it’s time to hear the ones that (apparently) really count.
In this DVD special, Jeremy and James travel to the North of England to name and shame the most rubbish cars in the entire WORLD. It’s a labour-intensive affair, filled with heated debates, giant cranes, James being locked in his own car boot and…Jeremy being tied to a tree.
But don’t be fooled, it’s not all about terrible cars – to appreciate the stinkers you have to revel in some good ones too – like the 4.5 litre Ferrari 458 Spider, Toyota’s GT86 and the £340,000 Lexus LFA running shoulders with a Mercedes SLS AMG.
As they are up North, the boys invite The Stig’s Yorkshire cousin to be a guest driver. Putting his whippet to one side he throws the BMW M5 round a gymkhana course before testing out a couple of Transatlantic challengers with Jeremy and James. Things, you won’t be surprised to hear, don’t go according to plan.
The debate about theThe Worst Car in the History of the Worldcontinues while the boys play a few rounds of golf. But that doesn’t go according to plan either. They even put their own cars – past and present –into the reckoning. That ends badly too.
The rest of the time up North is spent arguing over the great and the awful from Peugeot, Ford, Mahindra, FSO, Alfa Romeo, Rolls Royce, Porsche, Citroen, Saab and many more.
There’s also a special surprise fate in store for the car picked as the biggest loser…
Top Gear: The Worst Car in the History of the World will be released on DVD, Blu-Ray and digital download on Monday 19th November 2012. It will also include a special augmented reality experience. We’re not entirely sure what that is, but it sounds good, doesn’t it?
