ETF mer fee

I often day trade beta etf's and was just wondering how I am being charged the management expense ratio. Because I usually close out my positions before the closing bell, I was wondering how these fee's are being charged to me in such a short period. Any input on this topic would be appreciated.

no, you don't get dinged like that

its more like.. if the underlying assets return 10% over the year, the realized return for you would be roughly 10% - MER = ~8.7% if MER was roughly ~1.3%
