Attempted break in at kerrisdale

my neighbor's Integra was broken into but bluckily battery was dead. just the driver's side window was smashed in and went through the glove box. tried to steal the radio but left it (aftermarket stereo). non GSR/Type R too.

just be careful parking your cars outside overnight.

LOL, That's kind of how my car was prevented from being stolen too.
My car was off the road and I decided to pull the battery out. Guys were probably trying to figure out why my car wasn't starting.
Unfortunately, they caused about $2000 while trying to steal my car. Thank goodness I had storage insurance on it.

Why so they can use a flathead and break that too?
Don't keep anything of value in there and don't lock it

our benz was broken into a while ago (a year maybe?)... twice in 2 months.

this is around Magee.

Lots of random punkasses roaming around at night, but according to the people at Benz repair shop, the person more or less knew what they're doing given the way they broke the window.

Here's a trick, leave nothing in ur car, leave the glovebox and centre console open, and if u want, leave the doors unlocked

Theives are after anything they can flip for $10, very rarely the car (as most have pretty good immobilizers) and it's just not that easy/ worth it to steal a car

If you live in an apartment comped, def leave it unlocked, car cannot get out (need a clicker to get out of my complex at least)

Do this, and car crime will significantly decrease, or at least they'll move onto the next idiot with stuff strewn all over their back seats

If they're in a hurry, they're still going to try to reef on the glovebox if it's locked. If it's unlocked and there's nothing to steal, let them open it.

K you've just confirmed your fucking brain doesn't work now................. Locked glove box to anyone w/ half a brain would think that owner is trying to hide something of value inside. And why wouldn't some junkie cocksucker break it apart to try and get in then?

....how does benz repair shop know the way a window was broken? -Doesnt take a rocket scientist to break a window.

best is to leave glovebox open so that when the crook peaks in, they know all valuables have been cleaned out. doing so will prevent (most of the time, unless you are in surrey) any break in attempts.
