Want to do a Toyota conversion to your Scion? Check this list. - Scion FR-S Forum | Subaru BRZ Forum | Toyota 86 GT 86 Forum | AS1 Forum - FT86CLUB In depth guide to swapping in JDM toyota parts. |
Scion has the same bolt pattern as my celica. I told my parents they could use my stock gts rims if they want to. But they are 16"... Hmmm auto cross??? |
I'm looking at picking up some Enkei NT03+M for my car. not sure about sizing tho was looking in 18x8 +35 was going to get OZ Superleggeras but am glad I decided not too now haha |
What's wrong with superleggeras? |
Nothing just wouldn't want to have the same wheels as you there are only a couple of us right now so I rather not rock the exact same wheels |
does manual FR-S have hill assist/start feature? |

No hill assist in the FR-S. |
anyone know the difference between the frs and brz? |
^ Srsly? It's mostly aesthetics though. Here's a good side by side comparison. Link: Perrin Performance Compares Subaru BRZ and Scion FR-S |
Do you guys run staggered on the FRS? It wouls be much easier to sell my gold RPF1 if FRS owners runs same size all around. |

Not sure about the exact offset but it's in the 40s. I read 45 some places and 48 on other forums. The guy here says 48. which makes me a bit worried now with a et35 for my superleggeras going past the fenders. Factory offset and width? - Scionlife.com |
Hey guys just got my FR-S yesterday! So excited to be an FR-S owner1!!!!:fullofwin: |
Which forum for FRS do you guys frequent? I find Ft86Club Canada section lacking. Should make a local frs brz club haha |

subaru 12x1.25 toyota 12x1.5 the subaru wheel nuts DO NOT hold toyota wheels on safely... |

Obviously he will buy proper lug nuts. The wheel doesn't matter. In fact, you can't even screw in a 1.25 into a 1.5... |
17x7 with high offset will look like a sunken spaceship. Whats the spec on OEM wheels? Quote:

No love for the BRZ owners? .__. |

it is incredibly unsafe to run acorn nuts to hold a shank mount wheel onto a car... the hole deforms and you run the risk of the wheel coming loose and falling off... |
Thanks for the concerns; That's why I love rs. Pulling up google, narfy is referring to this http://www.delica.ca/forum/download/file.php?id=14794 Thanks coz I honestly did not think of this because I've only swapped rims relating to toyota (gt/gts/aftermarket rims). I assume if we use the same factory scion lugnuts and they hold the gts rims, then problem solved. Otherwise I'll scavenge around for some proper lugnuts (acorn/ball seat) Also, no brz owners? |
no... your FRS is equipped with subaru lug nuts... 12x1.25 thread pitch... toyota shank with washer nuts are 12x1.5 thread pitch and i don't think you'll find nuts that fit your celica wheels in a 12x1.25 thread pitch... nissan nuts MIGHT fit... i believe they are 12x1.25 shank as well, but i'm not 100% sure... |
