Doan would be leaving some serious money on the table to sign with the Canucks.

For sure, that would be a steal of a signing. 19M/4yr contract would pay him less than the rumoured contract he was going to get with Phoenix. I figured it would take at least 6M/yr to get him out of Phoenix, I would gladly pass at that price. 4.75M/yr is pretty close to the $4.6M that the Canucks like to impose on most free agents not named Daniel or Henrik

After everything Burrows has done for the Canucks, 4.5M is fair value. He's deserved it.

Burrows doesn't put up ridiculous numbers, but many of his goals have been pretty clutch. Besides, his SO goals aren't reflected in his point totals.
