Well I'm hearing this directly from someone who works with them and is close, not media, that's how I heard the Burrows contract details and he was going in to sign hours before he put pen to paper and info released. From what I'm to understand it sounds like Doan was ready to go this morning then things changed for him again, shitty, guess his heart was always in phx

from what i recall, a LOT of us here knew that burr at $2 mil/year was a gigantic steal and we knew he took that home town discount to continue playing with us. he sure as shit has proven his worth and i am glad he worked out a new contract with us! :D

Burr first contract was $450,000 and an undrafted player from the ECHL. What a story! He came a long way!
