Check out all the players that were put on waivers today. It includes MA Gragnani and Brett Sutter.

Prospects are sent to AHL to earn a paycheck and continue to develop during the lock out.

Kassian looked a lot more polished during today's skate compared to last season. Hoping for the best if/when the season gets rolling.

He extended his contract in Feb 2009. One day after this memorable goal:

I think everyone knew he was a steal for $2mil.
And he ended up finishing the season with 51 pts.

I was just thinking that watching this video. Ignore the typical media question they ask but he looks like he lost some fat.

I remember watching that game at a friends house fuck so sick

Burrows earned every dollar he made this contract and probably deserved even more for how clutch he has been and the big time goals he's scored

i was behind thomas in the 4th row when he scored fuck it was nuts, the atmosphere outside after the game was crazier than gold medal game

i'm fuckin baked but realistically like how sick is burrows and how many big goals he has scored

Burrows is a freaking beast. I can still remember exactly where I was with many of his OT goals.

Series clinching OT goal vs St Louis when we swept them

Turning point shorty winner vs the Canes to turn us around and go on a hit streak

OT clincher vs Hawks

OT winner vs Boston in game 2 of the Finals

Fav is the Finals one only because I witnessed it in person. Otherwise, the Hawks one hands down was awesome. Shit, they're all awesome.

Seriously, Burrows is not getting any younger. Even if for "personal" reasons (and not professional) he decided to cash out EVEN on another team, there's no way I would hate this guy anymore; This guy deserves it through and through and the bunch of youtube vids everyone here is posting is just only a margin of the reason why.

In fact, I encourage him to cash out before he reaches his burning out point; I'm just glad he did it for a measly $4.5 and with us when I think he'll get more than his fair market value if he asked his agent to go on "shark" mode.

Burrow's goal against Chicago is on par with "GREG ADAMS! GREG ADAMS!", Bure on Calgary and other "greatest" Canuck goals. I love '94 but the Dragonslayer goal is probably the most significant one for me as a fan.

Spotted Kes, Edler, Taniv & Higgins at the Cactus in YT last night. Taniv was plastered and acting a fool and walking up to every woman by the bar and dancing around, it was pretty hilarious. I seriously can't wait for the season to start.

I will probably get failed for this, but that Burrows goal for me was somewhat ruined by the "slayed the dragon" comment. They haven't slayed shit until they win the cup IMO. Yes, beating Chicago in the playoffs was huge, but it was no fucken "dragon" in my opinion. Especially when they could (should) have sweeped them.

Amazing goal, by my favourite Canuck. But man that call..

^ I pretty sure they made that comment as they just beat the hawks who were the defending stanley cup champs. So IMO slaying the dragon remark fits

Considering we got knocked out by them before and they were the previous Stanley cup winner, I think the "dragon" term was reasonable during that moment. Also it was a very intense game so I didnt really care what the commenter was saying to ruin my mood
