i know i've said this before but right now i'm pretty much indifferent to the lockout
fuck the players and owners both, if either side actually wanted to play they would have been doing so already, both parties know how its going to end
makes me look at all the money i've spent on memorabilia, jerseys, autographs, games, etc and makes me sick. Straight up everyone that goes to to the first game back whenever it may be will most likely be cheering, however everyone should be fucking booing as far as i'm concerned
wear the big printed out heads bettman photoshopped as a clown to the first hockey night in canada
it is disgusting that a league could just throw away so much momentum they had built even with the declining product due to the clutching and grabbing and different level of officiating
and unless Schneider is the god everyone thinks he is, nucks are done bro i have such little confidence in them right now of returning to a final
PS. Change U2 Intro

Ditching all my memorabilia, jerseys, autographs, cards, collectibles when NHL returns.
I thought everybody in Vancouver dislike bure, whats with the bandwagon all of a sudden?
We all were mad when he left because of how much we lived him. No one really knew the story behind the scenes so when he asked for a trade it was expected that we all felt betrayed.
But as time went on and that stuff become water under the bridge, we all remember everything he's done for us and what an electrifying player he was. Posted via RS Mobile
I could care less how the hits were back then. If we're going to criticize all the dirty/cheap hits in the previous years, we might as well pull guys like scott stevens out of the hof. some of the hits he threw were so dirty, I had to switch to porn when my mom came in the room.

They weren't mad, they just bitter because they didn't grow up watching Bure. All they had left was Youtube clips.
I know there's a few true Bure fans here including myself and Ch28
I was at Pavel Bure's first game as a Canuck against the Winnipeg Jets, sitting in the upper blues at the Pacific Colliseum. '94 was better than the 2011 run because we had players with heart, including Bure.

I barely remember 94's run. Because that's when I started watching hockey.
But I can only imagine it must have been better...
1994 Canucks just snuck into the playoffs and making a miracle run.
2011's Canucks was already a favourite, #1 team, dominated in pretty much every stat category,
and it almost felt like they just pissed away what they should have had.

^ Hockey on saturday night follow up by cung le vs rich franklin!
just a heads up if you didn't know but the event is actually airing at 6 am, but I assume they will air it again on tape delay? but then I guess you gotta avoid all the spoilers and shit lol I'm waking up at like 7 for the main event/comain
I recall the first game I went to quite vividly, Canucks vs. Anaheim in Bure's rookie season. He dazzled the crowd and captivated my heart.
The 94 run was amazing, as was the 2011 run. I won't say the 94 team had more heart, they were a great team that underachieved in the regular season but pulled it together when the time was right. I think the nostalgia of the 94 run has given that team more heart over the years, and it took us years to see what that team had and how close they truly were. They barely got out of the first round like the 2011 team. The 2011 run will still seem like we pissed it away for the next few years. Hopefully we don't have to go through another dark era to appreciate that team and run for what it truly was.
