I might actually watch the Spengler cup this year Posted via RS Mobile
It's been ruined for me, won't be the same when it comes back
I'll admit that I'd love to see the NHL see some sort of backlash from the fans once they do finally come back, but I know it'll never happen. Many people might be fed up and disgusted enough that they'll give up their season tickets or not watch anymore games, but in many markets there are plenty of people willing to snag what's been left behind.
My dad had enough this year and got rid of his season tickets. He's been a season ticket holder for 25 years and this year was the final straw.
It's sad to see Byron Ritchie's stats. Looked him up on hockeydb and he was a scorer in the minors and international scene, but never took off as anything in the nhl. The Canucks gave him the longest stint 71* games, he put up 11 points.
