in relevance to the burke firing I thought this was a good list, though I completely forgot that Sather actually FREED cap space instead of added cap when he acquired Nash
but he's also signed Redden, Drury, Gomez (which ended up being McDonagh for NYR though)

Rumor has it, Burke knocked up one of the employees from the Roger's center. The firing was rushed and inevitable, especially before the news where to hit the public eyes. It doesn't help that his current wife, Jennifer Burke is a high profile news anchor for CTV.

bleacher report is a joke, 99% of the shit that comes out of there is by wannabee sport writers who do little to no research. Especially if its a league wide article, expect very many stereotypes to be inserted in a paste and go.
