GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- The New York Rangers re-signed restricted free agent defenseman Michael Del Zotto on Sunday, according to the team's twitter account.
It's a two-year deal worth $2.55 million per season, a source told ESPNNewYork.com.

The home opener will begin with a season ticket holder having the honour of dropping the ceremonial faceoff.
During the game, one fan will have the chance to “Shoot to Win” for $100,000, and after the game 24 fans will be chosen at random for their “Jerseys off our Backs” promotion. The fans will meet the players at the end of the game and will be given a game-worn jersey from that night.
There will be other prize giveaways throughout opening weekend including the chance to win a road trip with the Canucks on the team charter.
In addition, the Canucks will be offering discounts on food and merchandise. During their first three-game homestand, all merchandise at the Canucks Team Store will be 50 per cent off and all concession hot dogs, popcorn, nachos and soft drinks will be just $1.00.
Tickets for January games go on sale on Tuesday at 2 p.m.
