Im not sure Id give the Moore camp that much credit. The damages they are claiming are subjective in SOOO many ways. Just because somebody has the potential to achieve something, doesnt mean they can or will. Call that the Gilbert Brule affect.

As predicted, Canucks are at home Saturday March 16th, a night after Pavel Bure is supposed to be in town for Aquilini's big Lions club fete

Bure jersey retirement? Otherwise why would Bure give a hotdamn about Aquilini?

Yeah, somebody has to keep the pressbox warm :okay:

Posting here and in the No need to start a new thread thread, but does anyone know how/where to get canucks practice tickets?

sonick 01-14-2013 04:41 PM

Is $95/each good for upper bowl? Decent lower bowl seats are all going for $180+/each hmm..

Are the $95 seats good? A little steep IMO. There should be some nosebleeds around $60.You should be able to pay face value or less to some butt hurt ticket holders. My buddy's face value in the Club sections are$190...

:suspicious: you mean going to training camp?

or scrimmage?

If it's scrimmage, check https://twitter.com/VanCanucks

because its only a 48 game season and with a 1 week training camp with no preseason games the players will still want to go full speed which will cause more groin strains since they are not in top game shape and rusty still.

roastpuff 01-14-2013 05:12 PM

Ah, I see now. Thanks! :)

Booth probably did very little actual skating during the off season as well so not too surprising

I was super excited when booth got here as he was a player I had been looking at before for a fit on the Canucks then he turns out to be a religious wacko with limited skill and probably mike Richards hit in the back of his mind all the time

murd0c 01-14-2013 05:39 PM

tell me more about him being a religious wacko? I know nothing about this lol

Hondaracer 01-14-2013 05:40 PM

Canucks acquired Jim Vandermeer, getting some veteran additional defense.

I was reading the province and AV said he skated quite a bit a week but not sure if it was recently or during the lockout?

Quote:

Vigneault said Booth — who’s probably better known in Canucks Nation for his exploits in hunting camo than in the Free Willy uniform — told him he’d been skating four or five times a week. Booth arrived in town last week and skated with his teammates at UBC on Thursday and Friday — the second day staying out late to do extra skating.

"As far as keeping tabs on players during the lockout, we weren’t allowed to communicate," said Vigneault. "But I did speak to David yesterday. Sometimes that stuff happens on the ice."

Canucks: Booth tweaks groin, second line in shreds

I was looking at the NHL Gamecenter Live - I've done a search, and read some mixed reviews on here. That said, it's only $50 for the season, which isn't that bad.

Anybody have any thoughts? I know the national games (CBC) are blacklisted, but all the other ones are broadcasted right? It'd be kinda nice to be able to watch it on my PS3 at home, on my phone when I'm out, or on my GF's apple tv.

Because some players are lazy fucks who didn't stay in shape while arguing with the owners
