on the positive side of things, our 2-2-2 start by the Canucks so far is the best start under coach V since 2008

strong logic | So, we all know Lu sucks ass when it comes to shootouts. Pull him and let SSSSSssssssss handle the shootout. Lu looks like a hero for bailing out the team throughout the game and SSSSsssss becomes like the pinch hitter in baseball.
It's a team effort, right?
Good thing there's no such thing as shootouts in the playoffs.

The towel used in sports are said to have had its beginings with Roger Nielson back in the 1982 Conference Finals.
The truth is, towel power is popular amongst Canucks fans because the towels can be used to cheer on the team when winning, but can also be used to wipe the tears when the Canucks let down their fans and lose it all.
One can only laugh about it, eh?

6 games in and the Garrison signing isn't looking all that great.
Can we finally come to the conclusion that players who exceed in Florida, tend not to pan out in Vancouver?
On the bright side, Ballard and Tanev look great.
Sedins, where art thou?

Sedins, where art thou? | It's the system.
Garrison was allowed to wander around and make offensive plays. AV's very d-centric and it makes ofd's double clutch / second guess their instincts.

Salo was arguably our best defenceman, when healthy.

Reigns have been past to Tanev now. Easily our team's *best* defenceman. It's like time freezes for him when he has the puck in a scramble.

Clowe) and make a play after. How many more times can he do this without getting hurt?

sucks we no longer have Salo but I'm happy hes doing so well to start the season. Lu played a great game and it's because of him we made it to OT. Him playing this well will hopefully help with reciving more in a trade but I'm happy with Gillis taking his time and not rushing since it's not really needed right now.

I love Lu, and I love Schneids. In many ways I still feel like its Lu's team, maybe I'm just not used to seeing Schneids as starter yet.
So far early into the season, it almost feels like the team is putting in a more concerted effort when Lu is in net, and least a little bit more anyways. Kind of like last season where the team seemed to bring a better game with Schneider in net.
