Kesler has to get his wrist shot back, it's been pretty weak, hopefully the repairs he's had will mean the return of his strength and accuracy in that shot.

Kesler needs to do what Mike Richards did last year for us to have a chance. He's doesn't need that wrist shot to be 100% to give us a chance to go back to the finals.
With wrist AND shoulder injuries, to the same side no less, its no surprise he couldn't shoot worth dick. I'm not too worried about him getting his shot back, it'll just be a matter of how long it takes.
just keep shooting the puck and hope for garbage goals/rebounds.
I think thats one of the main issues with the Canucks. Tehy try to pass the puck around on the outside, make the fancy and nice plays and are not shooting the puck enough at the net.
The other teams know this so they keep them on the outside until they make a move and force a turnover. The Canucks need to shoot low, go to the net and work their asses off to get those goals and it doesn't have to be pretty. Thats the main issue why our PP is horrible this year cause of the passing on the wall, how many times this year have you been yelling at the TV when we have full offensive control during the PP and they are just passing back and forth from the side wall and point?

thats why i feel like the grinders on our team are playing well at the moment. last game, lappy really had no open lane to shoot at, but he shoots it anyway and higgy tips it. guys like hansen gets so many chances in a game just from working hard and digging the puck out and just taking shots.
canucks need to play more dirty hockey infront of the net.

At least Kassian has his nickname protected. The 26-year-old has legally trademarked the name “Kassassin” in the U.S. and Canada, which means Canuck Zack Kassian will have to call himself something else.
