cooke's a piece of shit. who cares who he is off the ice. He's injured countless and robbed savard of his career. |
that wasn't the same tune we were singing when he was on our side... of course before he did some other questionable things.. just sayian.... |
Since this thread gets way more traffic than the hockey pool thread, I will post it on here. I have Erik Karlsson in the keepers pool. Anybody want him? Since it is a keepers pool, Karlsson definitely has value for next year and beyond. I'm not gonna drop him or give him away for free. Any takers? |

Cooke plays like a POS and probably is one as well. I'm basing that on his countless attempts to injure his fellow NHL players. PS: The incident with Karlsson looks 100% accidental IMO. |

I still think it's not very upbeat, sounds out-dated, and is going to put the crowd in a mellow state. Quote:
-We Are -Burn It To The Ground -Stockholm I don't listen to any of these artists, which keeps my unbiased judgement purely on what mood I get from listening to the music, and not on the artist. "We Are" reminds me of the menu screen of an EA NHL game. "Burn It To The Ground" sounds like a WWE intro. Not sure if "Stockholm" fits in... independently, I really like the song. But listening to it along with the video didn't seem that fitting. Made me want to go to a rave party instead. Anyway, if either of these 3 won the vote... :notbad: After listening to the songs some more, I'm going to vote with the Nickelback one. Not sure what's with all the Nickelback hating, but I'm voting for the song, not the artist. The beat of the song sounds the most intimidating IMO. Gives me the impression the Canucks are marching out. |
funny you say "burn it to the ground sounds like a wwe intro" Friend told me today it is the intro for wwe/raw :lol But yeah... I don't get the hate for nickelback.... Burn it to the ground is not that bad  Posted via RS Mobile |

Even as a goal song it's quite questionable. Switzerland used it as a goal song And a custom Canucks goal horn with Levels I made for kicks :lawl: |
At the game, people like to sing along to the goal song I think, I love Levels but I think that people would want somethign to sing to. |
what? You can sing to levels.... Dada da dadadadad Dadadadada :troll: Posted via RS Mobile |

Also, Offspring - Pretty fly for a white guy or Stacy's mom. Both hilarious. |
The radio made a good point yesterday a lot of the songs between whistles are geared towards woman and doesn't really work well with pumping up the crowd we dont need no rhianna simmer down the mainstream and go with something more interactive |

When Hansen scored... they sang/chanted JANNIK HANSEN :suspicious: As a consolation prize, some guy in the last row in Section 301 got a free signed jersey. |
Thats the way it should be at hockey games. People are way to stuck up at the games talking about what happened at work today or what a great lunch they had. Pisses me off when people complain about things like this when it creates a better atmosphere during the game. |

this is why i prefer to spend my 250-300 at a bar to watch canuck games over 2 tix, bad food, small beers and terrible atmosphere. |
