Flames have put Blair Jones on waivers. IMO, he'd be a good 4th line pick-up, if he falls down to us. The guy plays a decent 2-way game, is good on the faceoff dot, and has size.
So I was at the game last night. That 5 minute ovation for Henrik was incredible. No, we will not sit down. Sure, let the play continue but we're standing up for Hank until the play stops. Loudest I've heard Rogers in a regular season game.
And it just so happens I was sitting in the lower bowl, around a bunch of quiet people so I tried to get everyone into it. The couple sitting directly in front of me are exactly the sort of people I'm talking about. They sat during the standing O for Henrik and didn't make a sound the entire night. They left before the 3rd to either beat traffic or because I was cheering in their direction.
Everyone else was jacked, though. I had a lot of fun with the group in the box directly behind me (row 25 so the luxury boxes are right behind me). Lambo-leaped my way up there to high-five everyone in the box.
Was just about to post that. Where does he slot in? Third line is finding good chemistry right now, and Kesler and Booth don't exactly have the best chemistry. Weise looks like the odd man out to me.
Sedin - Sedin - Burr
Kass - Kes - Higgy/Booth
Raymond - Schroeder - Hansen/Booth
Volpatti - Lapierre - Hansen/Booth
It's one of two extremes I think. Either he is in the 4th line or on the 1st line. Maybe he can find some chemistry with the twins? Or he and Weise can try to crash and bang together. Posted via RS Mobile
By default Weise is the odd man out
but I can see Booth being that guy in the press box because he just can't get anything going with this Canucks team
