Mucks are missing a top 6 player with game breaking skill. IMO, Booth is the only player with that potential

Some nights, I tells ya...........

So this is it?
I missed my Walking Dead for this?

Well, This is it, guys, that is all - five minutes in and nothing, then the shootout.

When I look in my nephews eyes and only see one point for the standings.

Some nights.............. not FUN.

-agree with Gary Valk of Sportsnet. When Vancouver had that 5 on 3 powerplay, why did AV not put Garrison on the PP? You gotta use your player's strength to help you win the game. Garrison has a cannon of shot. Let the guy shoot!

Sure. If we were shooting at a soccer goal.

In all fairness, I do like Garrison though and how he's not shy to be trigger happy with that slapshot; but his shots rarely go where they're really supposed to go.

Honestly, Garrison has not been good at all thus far. He's looked slow, and his shot always ends up missing or hitting traffic, but I guess everyone on our top 4 hasn't been too good in general, though.

Depending on how the Hawks game goes, I'd try slotting in Barker to see if he can help the PP out.

Barker...Was looking for some promise in him at the Superskills comp. He looked realll meh

Tim Budong 02-17-2013 09:20 PM

from my understanding, Garrison hasn't taken advantage of the PP time that he gets to begin with
lol

Yes, but you'll never score on 100% of the shots you don't take. Or to quote Don Cherry, when you put the puck AT the net, good things happen. Guy gets a tip, you get a weird carom off a defender's skate, an odd bounce off the end boards... blasting the puck even in the general direction of the net is a fuckofalot more effective than endless paddy-cake passing that just ends up in a turnover.
