It's okay this guy has been a Kassian hater ever since the trade, of course inferring him as a fourth-liner when he doesn't put up points, and staying quiet when he has a good stretch of games
I'm not hurt, I'm just saying...you guys don't have to read my posts.. you guys seem more hurt than me tbh lol and I never said Kassian was a plug, I just said he was a 4th liner..
And if you guys play hockey, it's pretty easy playing with the Sedins. You just read the play and skate to open ice or go to the front of the net and wait for the puck to come to you, if you can't do that, you shouldn't be in the NHL.
No one here is hurt. We're mostly just astonished as to how some people are still bitching about this trade, knowing how big of a cancer Hodgson was.
BRB, acting like I'm entitled to top 6 mins when I'm a rookie
BRB, don't believe in working my way up
I've been a fan since a kid and have played hockey my whole life.
Then I don't understand how you can really think Kassian is a fourth liner if you've watched him play at all. His puck protection, hockey IQ, and offensive prowess say otherwise. The kid is 22, he's going to have inconsistencies as I said. Doesn't mean he's a fourth liner.

omg men, he was playing with da sedinz so it doesnt count1!!1

I assume all NHLers have those qualities.. that's why they're getting paid millions to play a sport

Why don't we just trade for John Scott, put him with the Sedins and watch him get 30+ goals? Because all NHLers have those qualities? Right? I guess all those years of watching and playing hockey didn't teach you very much.
How am i trolling? You never know..John Scott is 6'8, he might be able to get a couple of goals playing with the Sedins standing in front of the net, he can protect them as well. And I never said Sedins are gods that can set people up with a 30+ goals..I'm just saying that whoever plays can have a chance of scoring. That's if they can keep their head up and anticipate the play....which I assume any NHLer can do.
lol radioman all you can do is press the fail button, tell me how this wasn't a textbook example of a player benefiting from the Sedins.. what's more embarrassing is how Yakupov was watching the puck the whole time in that play.
Kass is a 4th liner, therefore he holds the same skill set as volpatti, Wiese, eager, hordichuk, bissonnette, etc AMIRITE!?!?
I guess Coho's dick is so far down his throat, it's destroying thos fanboy's braincells.

Can't really say all 4th liners are plugs like the above. Biznasty's not even NHL calibre 4th line anyway.
Example would be Brouwer, I think he plugged in chicago's 4th line and is now flourishing in WSH playing with Backstrom.
Kassian if he keeps developing could be a top line power forward, but it all depends on skill development and environment. I think he suits the AV system and he'll get plenty of ice time.
Guys, I've been playing hockey my whole life...if you put me on a line with the Sedins I will tap 30 goals in.
While I like Hodgson, he had a piss poor attitude on a veteran team. He just needed to shut up and play, but he didn't do that. Kassien was not brought in for grit as much as Hodgson was moved for being a whiny bitch.
The Sabres are going no where fast.
That team has been mismanaged for years. Back in 2006, the Sabres were the class of the NHL. Speed, skill, depth, they had it all.
Since, similar to the Caps, they've tried to change their style on the fly, making them have no identity. The team is small and weak up the middle. Hodgson, Ennis, and Hecht are all below average at faceoffs (closer to 40 than 50, which is horrible), and the only centre in the positive on the draw is Steve Ott.
The team simply can’t compete with the top clubs in the East – Crosby/Malkin, Krejci/Bergeron, etc etc... and the top teams are all experienced and deep down the middle.
Ehrhoff has been a good defensemen for them, but they overpaid for him.
Leino hasn't played a single game this year. Yes the top line has been productive, but no one else is contributing. Stafford has been invisible for much of the season and Foligno isn't nearly the same impact player he was last year (sophomore jinx?).
Don't even get me started on Myers. He got paid...based on a magic in a bottle rookie season but has regressed significantly. I should qualify this last point by saying, I tried hard to get him on my fantasy team this year because I think he will get back to his calder season ways, but for now, he's a dud.
