For him to say if it was any other person or wouldn't have happened is BS. For all he knows it could have been worse. Next time I'm sure he will take the hit instead of trying to swing off. Cooke stuck his leg out in my opinion to keep the hit somewhat in line to land it.

Giants are just absolutely garbage this year. News1130sports updates the Giants game scores all the time, all I ever see is them getting blown out.

thats how the WHL works. teams have max 5 good years at the top then slump for a few before rebuilding. the rockets did it, the giants have done it now, kamloops blazers were the team to beat in the 90s, etc. it goes in cycles since teams only stay together for a couple of years.

First off, Shanny released a video this morning on goalie interference - it's pretty good at explaining what they look for w/r/t suspensions versus just interference.

Secondly, I'm not sure how to link direct highlights to a game, but check out the 2nd goal in last night's Pens / Panthers game where Kunitz pokes the puck in the net and immediately eats a flying forearm to the face from Weaver. How the hell is that not a hit to the head when compared in severity against Hansen's 1 gamer. This is what drives me crazy about the NHL.

Wow that was a vicious elbow - Weaver's head snaps back really fast. No penalty at all. Frustrating indeed!
