Ballard has every right to say what he has to say. He sat quietly for 2 years and put in the time and was patient. Mad respect for him lasting this long.

Which is all fine and dandy. But when did it turn into needing an agent to do the talking for you? Agents talk about contract and business. Let the coach and player work out their own differences.

Schneider's agent speaking up earlier this season is a different case, since they negotiated the contract based on him being the #1 goalie.

Unless MG has some secret advanced stats that nobody else is privy to up this point, I can't imagine that he's overly pleased with how Ballard has been treated either after the start he's had. AV is dashing any dreams that MG had of moving Ballard and his big contract for anything more than a bag of pucks.
